Not all of us are sports fans, and some of us could really give a shit about who wins the game, but you can't ignore just how major Super Bowl sunday is. Sure, some people do watch the game, some people just like to watch the commercials, and some people even go so far as to watch the traditionally horrible halftime show. So, what's your favorite part of this annual event? What's your favorite moment of this year's Super Bowl?

My favorite moment so far? The accidental exposure of Janet Jackson's right breast at the end of the Half-Time show. Wink

I paid more attention to the commercials for most of the first half, because the game wasn't much to look at.
Then the last 6 minutes of gameplay made up for it.

During the course of the Super Bowl, I did three things:
1. Practice with a local chamber ensemble. This was fun and productive.
2. Eat dinner while talking about video games. Also fun and productive.
3. Play Star Wars D&D. Not productive, but very very fun. As a result, I now get +14 on my Diplomacy rolls.

I did not at any time watch football, as it is neither fun nor productive. The commercials of later years haven't been nearly good enough to counteract the sheer suckitude of everything else.

Yea for VCR's three hours of tape in 30 minutes. I just speed through the football and go strait for the commercials. Wink

Why is everyone making a big freakin deal about Janet's boob(s)? I mean she was wearing a pasty over her tasty...erm yeah well they're blowing this more out of proportion than the Howard Dean scream.

I didn't see the infamous Jackson boob, and I'm glad I didn't. I don't want to see any part of any Jackson naked ever . . .

But it did do one good thing. I made it so MTV will never produce a half-time show again. This is good becaue maybe it won't suck quite so much. Or maybe it will suck in a different way. But still, it's somewhat of a ray of hope.

Ya, about it that show in general...

Why the hell was it all music from THREE OR FOUR YEARS AGO! and even older with Janet's "Rythm Nation".

Seriously, I was waiting for them to do the Thong song and then bring out Ricky Martin as encore. This was the most dated concert I have ever seen MTV should be freakin' ashamed.

She wasnt wearing a pasty. If your curious head to www.drudgeretort.com and see the shots.

As for the commericals. Adcritics a pay service now. So Ifilm.com picked up the slack and has all the commericals up for viewing up 200k streaming. My personal favorite is the Fed Ex alien.

Really? I hated the Fed Ex Alien.

Oh, and MTV should be ashamed of itself 22 hours a day, not just for htis concert. I say 22 cuz MADE was good (although it had nothing to do with music (but the soundtrack to it was DANDY, they used quite a few Ben Folds songs)) and late at night they play actual music videos, and not just rap.
