All of these movies and not one mention of Die Hard. People, you need to get together and basque in the glory of terrorism, asian megacorporations, and a man who manages to take care of the enemy...while barefoot. _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

Nobu,
Number 5 is alive!
Now how in the world am i supposed to forget it? I guess i can cloud my head with a movie with Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons battling robots in the future. Yeah thats it. I'll just make it all fuzzy remembering that wonderful piece of cinema. |

King Arthur: Run Away! [/pun]
Or just dispatch Blue Thunder to deal with the problem while you sit back and ponder The Meaning of Life. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Don't forget Footloose, Ghostbusters and Back to the Future.
And the limitless number of B-movies like Russkies and Mahattan Project. That's what the 80's were about. That and building cities. We know what those cities were built on. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Notable piece about Real Genius first movie Val Kilmer made. But not the first movie released. And he followed it up with another interesting 80's movie Top Secret. |
Not to be picky, but I think Top Secret was before Real Genius....I'm pretty sure anyways. |

It was on the Top Secret DVD and you know. The directors would never lie on a commentary. Now if my brain remembered it correctly is a whole other issue.
Nobu,
Lets see how about "Every sperm is sacred" or Mr Kreosote. Ah the most underrated python move. Another small thin minty chocalate wafer? Its wafer thin.
And i did remember Runaway's name. I was trying to excise it from my mind by force. It didnt work. Any movie with Gene Simmons in it. Is usually not that good. |

Yeah, Red Dawn, Iron Eagle and Uncommon Valor rank, too.
And the "fad" movies like Xanadu, Breakin' and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, and Valley Girl (with Nick Cage!).
Sometimes, it just makes one want to play Taps. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Iron Eagles fine unless your an airplane note watching what the Russian planes are in the first. Or in the second and third in how many different weapons were dropped from an F16 on one trip. Its really depressing that they think we are so dumb to not notice it. |

The Iron Eagle soundtrack is most excellent.
But I think Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi) could take on an F-16 and win. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.
