Post subject: UK Toonami Music Vid's
|

I hoping someone can help out here but a while ago on the UK channel and previously the toonami slots there was an extended music video featuring Tenchi, Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing and one or two other anime shows. It was an a very rocky sounding song and it was slowed down to a quiet rhythm before Heero from Gundam says the words "One more to go" then it launchs back into the rock section again.
What I'm after is the name of the rock part of the song. The mellower bit is a track called 'Building steam with a grain of salt.' by an artist called DJ Shadow but I can't find out the name of the rock track and it's driving me nuts please help out if you can. I don't know if it was ever shown in America but I 'm hoping it was so I might get a reply.
Thanks |

Sorry, swiftwind. I've skimmed over the TDA archive, but I don't see or recall anything fitting that description.
IIRC- most, if not all, of Toonami USA's music during that period was electronica produced by an artist named Joe Boyd Vigil, who's seemingly disappeared from the interweb since... the best of his Toonami stuff was collected on the "Toonami: Deep Space Bass" album that CN released in 2003(?). _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. This video was very good for the obvious 2 major reasons:
- The song is superb
- The video was very touching
I think this is one of the best anime music videos ever who would disagree? ^_^ |

No I think it was a video they must have kept in their archive because I saw it when toonami was still a part of cartoon network, and a second time when toonami was a separate channel. Ah well, good luck in finding it, post if you do come across it! |
