D'oh!
This is what happens when you read predominantly DC Comics. Sorry. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I started with both, but found DC's multiple universes easier to understand than Marvel's one really convoluted timeline.
Then I discovered the independents. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I used to own all of the X-Factors. And I keep wanting to see Storm head into the sewars watch the beginning of the morlock war. I also owned the Marvel Universe. Every issue including the cool death issues. But Pyro suprised me in the movie because I didn't remember him. He must be a newer character. And it was jubilee with the fireworks power. We could combine her with Dazzle and have two useless superhero..err superheroines. |

Pyro was an old hero. In the comics, he dies from the Legacy disease, Marvel's answer to AIDS. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles |

Well, I saw it last night. Not bad, good action and special effects, but I thought it could have been plotted a little better. It seemed to lack a little... humanity, of all things. Maybe I'm just not a modern action fan.
****SPOILER****
I did catch the "Remy LeBeau" reference on Stryker's computer. Probably a few others listed that I'd get on a freeze-frame of that scene. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

There are tons of cameos and refrences to the comics and characters we haven't/barely seen.
Anywho, I posted this in the movie news thread, I thought it would fit in here.
A Muslim group is demanding an apology over the recent film, X2. Based on the fact that within the first 5 minutes of the film, it's villain, Col. William Stryker, is seen wearing a ring featuring the Arabic symbol for ‘Allah.’ Colonel Stryker was never depicted as a Muslim in the comic book series and the Islamic community feels this is "a subtle but obvious attack on Islam."
as for the forge bit:
forge wasn't black. forge actually is a cheyenne indian. He's got "2" powers. His mutant power is "if he can imagine it he can build it" which if you think about it is a damn damn hella cool power. His other power is from his mystic training from some shaman. Oh and he's not from the future.
I told yaz I know mah x-men biznatches. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Jeez, Muslim groups get pissed off at everything. I can understand their sensitivity, (especially in this day and age), but it's not an attack on Islam. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles |

Was it a Canadian shaman, by chance? I'd know who that character would be. (I have complete first run of Alpha Flight ) _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis
