Post subject: A sad sad day for adventure fans.

LucasArts has decided to stop production of the upcoming adventure title Sam and Max: Freelance Police.
Mike Nelson, acting general manager and VP of finance and operations at LucasArts explains it this way:
"After careful evaluation of current market place realities and underlying economic considerations, we've decided that this was not the appropriate time to launch a graphic adventure on the PC."
First Full Throttle II and now this. WHY HATH YOU FORSAKEN ME LUCASARTS?! WHY?! |

I remember Lucas Arts adventure games were what originaly got me into PC gaming... Sam and Max, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis... very fun stuff ^______^
... I was really looking forward to this : /, this game would have really brought back some fond memories |
