Seriously, Clear channel is taking away every respectable music station in Miami, where I live. First they turned the classical station into a dance/party/techno station, the they turned the disco/70s/soul station into hip hop and R&B, and now they took away the modern rock station and turned it into something they call "Hurban" which stands for Hispanic Urban music = "more rap crap" for the stupid hispanic fake thugs. Like we didn't have enough of them already.
Now all we have left is the calssic rock station which will most probably get screwed up somehow. As if the rock scene wasn't bad enough in Miami in the first place.
Has Clear Channel screwed YOUR radio stations?

To be honest, the bigger concern is how Clear Channel is endangering lives with their consolidations. (Because your "local" radio station may just be an unmanned rack of equipment 1000 miles away, it becomes VERY hard to alert people to, say, chemical spills over the radio.) _________________ Proud creator of the Wikipedia RX-78 mobile suit series article.

It is not typical for existing radio stations to be a signal repeater in a room somewhere.
Clear Channel took a beloved "easy listening"(Bing Crosby/Big Bands/Rat Pack/Lounge type classics) and turned into yet another "soft rock/crossover country" POS.

You need to read up on Clear Channel. This is one of their favorite ways of saving money.

I typically listen to Talk anyway, with most stations having lots of local programming. It's not always great, but it is nice to hear local voices on issue of local import, instead of "Live from LA, it's yet another Howard Stern clone that is trying to see how filthy and debauched they can get on the radio!!"
