Doing stuff.
Mainly iSquint.
http://www.isquint.org
An iPod video converter for Mac. Chicks dig it. Over 30,000 downloads.
It'll hit 1.0 like, tomorrow or something.
I've also been spending time with my woman. I found out that there's only a one letter difference between "fiancé" and "finance", so I'm calling her my finance.
And a bunch of other stuff that may or may not be stuff I'd want to post here. Maybe later.
I should stop neglecting TDA/ASF and stuff eventually. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

So, this iSquint is Mac only?
*SIGH* Now I know how y'all feel.
I mean, I don't have an iPod Video YET, but I will in a year or two, I'm sure. _________________ anime is teh s uck

isn't iSquint a widget?
KDE 4 will have support (at least some) for widgets, you can try that CP _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

Widgets are glorified HTML pages.
iSquint is an AppleScript Studio program - something compiled. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

have you ever used Trillian?
You know how you can put different themes on it?
Those themes are XML (XML is similar, in some ways to HTML) exxentially a glorified web page.
Apple has a dashboard layer (I think thats what it is, not sure) which lets you run widgets (similar to the XML themes for trillian). However it just renders them like a web browser renders a page.
An apple script whatzamajigger, is a program, an exe file if you will.
It's not .exe, Apple doesn't do those, but its an application, which runs all by itself.
In other words, a widget is a file, iSquint is an application.
That about sum it up Tyler? _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |
