Both are equally skilled at "inventing neat weapons out of assorted crap", so it comes down to:
Mr. T: Attitude and bling-bling
vs.
MacGuyver: Awesome powwa' of The Mullet

It's tempting to put Mr. T in, but he pales compared to Hawkeye... The Hawkeye of the early 70s. He just lost most of his humor in the 80's(and Radar wasn't there to help). Therefore... Go Matlock! _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

yeah, that's true...that's why I almost left Hawkeye out - M*A*S*H got way too serious at tne end of it's run...I think Alan Alda was just mad to still be at war...when the real Korean War was like 1/3 the length of the series |

I would have to go with Macgyver (i think thats how its spelled). He could make a nuke out of guacamole, dog shit, and a wig... whats not to like?!
Mr. T wasnt as cool because 1) he lost to Rocky and 2) his character on the A-Team (B.A. Baracus) was afraid of flying. As far as I know, Macgyver had no flaws except for being smart and dead sexy.
P.S. no counting the Transformers because they are gods. Robot gods. _________________ My complete lack of knowledge is perfectly balanced with my complete lack of giving a shit. |

MacGuyver, because he could make something to kill Mr. T, and Unicron, all in one episode. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles |

I actually voted for Huxtable. His wholesome family humor just crack me up. I'm sure even MacGuyver liked Cosby. He was no foo! I thought everybody had forgotten about MacGuyver. ANd yeah i remeber that mullet. I really hope he cut it....cut the mullet!!(if anyone knows what I'm talking about)(rock over london!)

dang, so much to talk about in your post...
1) Cliff Huxtable rocked...The Cosby Show might be my favorite show ever - one of the ONLY family shows made in the last 30 years that was funny for people over 10 years old...Cosby is friggin genius
2) As long as you're on this board, you'll never be alone in remembering MacGuyver...he and Matlock come up every so often in a poll - it's been too long
3) Yes, I know the "cut the mullet" song...when I had a mullet (for 3 days...special for the OU v. UT football game ), my roommate was playing that song over and over and over...

I, too, voted for the 1337 comedy m4st4, Cosby. Other than Scrubs, a good sitcom hasn't been made in YEARS, and even some of the things on Scrubs simply aren't FUNNY. Sex isn't funny. Yet the major networks never learn. They go, "When in doubt, put in a sex joke, those are always funny" and the truth is that only one in every thousand sex jokes are actually FUNNY. Cosby knew this, kept it all clean, and was still funny. He is the master. _________________ anime is teh s uck

I never watched the Cosby show. But I have seen Bill Cosby doing stand-up and I can't stop laughing. He's one of those rare comedians(sp?) that could do that to me _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." - Calvin
