Anime funny farm, may it age well in the field of many other titles...honestly I didn't even know Pilot candidate was out of the line up.

You would like it if you're completly void of the concept known as a plot, and can stand uber-nasty edits that aren't even worthy of a toonami airing.

it probably would have faired a hell of a lot better on Toonami like it was suposed to in the first place. It just seemed to fit into Toonami much better.

still. it would have definitly faired much better outside of AS, especialyl ASA where the self appointed anime freaks try to get their english television anime fixes.

The whole show needed an overhaul. For those of you who never seen this horrible horrible show here is a quick review
The fact that it was named Pilot Candidate let you know this story aint goin to far. I mean if they actually made it then it wouldnt be Pilot Candidate any more now would it . The script was absolutely the pits. Having the main charactor obsess over becoming a pilot so much that you want to jump in the frickin suit just to step on his A$$. And even worse when he is not trying to become a pilot he is expressing it to us by saying "Awsome" more times then Eminem says the "F" word in all of his songs combined. Then of course there are the same support charactors that you see in almost all mecha, we have the superb, anti social pilot who you get sick of because you know that he is going to warm up at the end (which we dont know because the series doesnt complete itself) and then the goofy nerd boy who you love only because you hope he gets blown up the next scene. The mobile suit battles arent impressive at all. We have five top of the line mobile suits capable of destroying anything they face (sound familiar) problem is we dont get any real action scenes. Just the five taking on what looks like giant space earth worms called Victim. If you ask me the real Victim is those who watched this show.
If you have already watched this show like me I feel your pain, if you havent then walk away.

5. Poorly Dubbed.
6. Poorly Edited.
7. Characters And The Plot Was Mess Up.
8. Viewers Hated It.
9. Was On The Wrong Block.
10. Shouldn't Have Come To CN To Begin With.
