Well folks, after a few pleasant months of fooling us otherwise, it seems FUNimation will always have a soft spot for destroying the things we love about anime.

Spook the orignal opening is "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" sung by Field Of View. That has to be one of the worst english opening that Funi has ever done. But if you think Funi will stop at that take a look at this

So not only only will they take out a great opening theme and replace with a crappy song but they are going to have people ruin the orignal theme song as well.

caring level: not a damn bit, if they were changing it after years of loving and loyal fanage, then I'd care, but it's making it's premiere in the states. Only okatus and friends of otakus have seen it. ALmost nothing is commercially made witht he otaku in mind. Just remember this: there is little to no chance that the original japanese opening theme would stay. You 1% who want to see the original theme/opening combo are not who they are trying to sell the show to.

I never said I wanted the original theme(God knows the closest we would get is a translated version of it). I just really don't want this one...

Or anyone who has access to TDA.
In any case, nobody is asking for the original music, but it's no excuse to make crap. The reason for this thread is just to poke fun at FUNi.

all they need to do is remove the rapping. the music istelf I kinda like. funi + lyrics = always bad. ALWAYS. I've gotten used to it aparently.

After listening to 30 seconds of the this..."song," only one word came to mind: harikiri.
After listening to 1 minute, I knew that death was too good for me.
After listening to the whole thing, I began to question existence itself.
