Heh, I thnk i have the largest avatar, and I use 56k... it used to be 100k, but i recompressed it. It would be 10k if flash avatars were allowed

some hosts don't allow direct linking, you gotta go find one that does.

and nowadays that's almost no one. Yout best bet is if your ISP gives you free webspace and that is usually allows direct linking.

^_^ and I will too.
but really no Brinkster(my host) doesn't allow direct linking with thier free service. not to mention they give me insanly small amount of Bandwith only 16.7 megs a day. I really don't want to pay $100+ server bill if I do end up findin a service that does allow it.

But seriously, it doesn't even give me a headache. For about a week, my CADD class had an informal contest for most nearly seizurific desktop. One guy ended up making a script that flashed his screen from red to blue rapidly. Within fifteen minutes, half the room was complaining of headaches. Believe me, this doesn't come close.

Make longer posts.
but seriously you have a set size for your posts depending on how big your avatar is and that space get's smaller when there is more stuff to fill it. Like the quote block and 2-4 lines of text.
