I've just started watching the Sunday repeat of this week's episode. Dr. Light? I think I prefer Dr. Light being the benevolent old creator of Rockman. The Japanese version of the theme song is kinda refreshing, though. _________________ Rycel's Death Count on this board: 7

Alright, I have been a Titans fan for a little while and have read some of the comics back from the Nightwing, Starfire, Cyborg era and I just picked up the terror of Trigon which was the story that last week's ep sort of centered around. I highly recommend it. TT is an awesome show, anime or not, although I do wish they would tone down the anime refrences. I went to otakon this year to give away free fanzine and went and picked up the new 'Puffy Amuyumi' cd and it said on the cover 'featuring the new hit single, the teen titans theme.' I went nuts.. The whole song is three minutes long..I also met TM Revolution the guy who sings heart of sword from kenshin and went to the concert he held at Otakon and was shown on a huge tron and will be on a dvd of the otakon concert when it comes out..sorry but I had to share..I have an otakon rant..
but all in all, I love Teen Titans, this does have continiuity with all the other shows, the robin is more like Tim Drake than the one from the batman show was, he is the third robin in this universe but they call him Jason Todd, and we all know that Todd in the real universe was the second robin who died..I'm assumming that in Batman, they thought they would not be ever doing a Titans series and wanted to keep it as close to new as possible so they called the second robin Tim Drake, but gave him Todd's actual origin and after Return of the Jojer where they said Batman would never endanger another yound partner..well they said that after Todd died but the third Robin wanted to be Robin and in the end became Robin anyway..I bel;ieve it is the same in animated universe only while this is in actuality Tim Drake, they call him Jason Todd cause he can'e be the one who went nuts.
I think this is later inb the Justice League timeline and I know we will not be seeing any x overs with the two but to see the Titans in the Justice league show would be more apporpriate since we don't wanna see Batman with sweatdrops next to his head..I was wondering why they do not mention the B man at all in Tt. I know they want Robin away from him but they act like Batman had no part of him. I really liked how the song was in Japanese last week. That kicked..It isn't anime but it still rules! I hope though that people will realize that this used to be a comic before the show and not think it is an original anime or something.
I also believe..now I'm not sure so don't kill me, but I think the Dr. Light they had was actually made BEFORE the Rockman Dr. Light..sounds wierd but TT is really old school. After reading the Trigon arc, and seeing what they could do even in 1984, I notice DC even then did sophisticated stories for real comic fans. I'll think of more to say later..haha bad for you..sorry..but it rules T E E N TIT ANS TEEN TIGHT ANS LETS GO! READ MY OTAKON RANT PICS COSPLAY PICS! TMR was the man! I do apologize for the long rant, but I really enjoy this show..comparing this show to the original comic is just wrong, but you should really read some old titans stuff to quench the ever annoying curiousity. I'm looking forward to this weekend's ep because they will finally have another of the original founding Titans besides Robin on in Aqualad, the sidekick to Aquaman (duh right? But why the name Aqualad? and although Robin, it was Dick Grayson who founded bahhhh..)
