We are pleased to announce our 2005 J-Pop Guest of Honor:

Singer / Seiyuu

Starting her career at age 15, she performed the opening song for the hit anime series *Vision of Escaflowne* written by the famous Yoko Kanno. Since then she has continued to perform countless songs written and composed by Yoko Kanno. These have included including the theme songs to *RahXephon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Wolfs Rain* and countless others. She has also released several solo albums and singles.

Please get me an autograph. I beg of you. I'm crying so much. She never has concerts outside the fanclub and the first time she will...I can't go...

I'm in floods of tears. How sad. Someone...please help me...

Ok...for this to happen we must consider the variables and prerequsites....

1. Someone must live in Texas and want to go, or wants to go and be willing to fly there.

2. Manage to get through all the madness and get the autograph.

3. have enough money left over from the con to send something by mail overseas.

....that being said, sadly I cannot get that autograph for you Dill. I sowwy...

I have a friend in Houston that goes to cons and I'm waiting on his response to see if he'll still be around and able to get the autograph. If not, I live in oklahoma and Dallas is only like a 5 or 6 hour drive from my house. So, I'll try to grab you one as well. Granted, I'm still not sure if i'll be able to go or not, being in college, so if anyone else has a source or lives in/close to Texas, give it a shot.

Bleh. I know it was a long shot. But anyone living in America has a better shot than me to get to the signing or the concert T_T

And since all the others have autograph sessions she probably will too. But...I was upset...sue me Crying or Very sad

I could do it...possibly.

Though if I was in Texas I'd much rather go to A-kon.

But at least you're on the same continent, right? But honestly though, why does Texas have so many conventions...?

Compared to other states it doesn't reallly.

I made a little list, which may have some flaws

10 Ten States for Anime Cons

1. California - 12 cons

2. Florida - 6 cons

3. Virginia - 5 cons

4. Georgia - 4 cons

5. Texas - 4 cons

6. Massachusettes - 4 cons (up until recently had like none)

7. New York - 3 cons

8. Penn. - 3 cons

9. Illinois - 2 cons

10. Ohio, Colorado, Washington, Louisiana, Minnesota, and DC all have 2 cons

and just about every other state has at least one, With both Arizona and Hawaii having their first just this year. I feel bad for jolly ol' england

And don't forget that North America is a pretty big continent. I'm a thousand miles away from the western edge of Texas. That'd be quite a drive unless I flew.
Oh, and Nevada had its first con last Labor Day weekend.

sorry dill, but taking a flight from jersey to texas for a convention is a bit much for me...i'm not much of a con person anyway, but if we were talking somewhere like philadelphia, i'd have a better chance of helping...
