Nope. He clearly said "Fau."

So what does fau mean?

No one knows. I tried translating it with all the languages on Babelfish and got no results. I assume they probably made up the word, or maybe it's an acronym for something.

An acronym is this. Exit Mr. Hat. Figure that out and call me in the morning.

GB your a god amongst men. You and I were thinking the same thing.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Concerning the Big O's. It looked more like a parade procession then a mass production line. But between the scene of them marching. The scene with them getting slaughtered by the Hydras. And the much overplayed sequence of the Big Duo's in the air. It was an army of Big's that ended the world.

And actually the voice actor for Alex Rosewater seems rather new at all this. I really hate what they did with Rosewaters character this year also. Last year he was the ultimate form of corporate america. He was intelligent and everything he did meant something. This season hes a rich spoiled brat.

Is it me or is this show making LESS sense each week. The talk about memories as objects still bothers me. And with each new weapon, Big O becomes less believable. There's no room for any parts that would actually cause the damn thing to move, let alone lift it's gigantic arsenal.

CP i agree completly. Im not a fan of season 2 the way I was season 1. This is a grab for money.

But I will be there sitting watching each sunday at 11pm.

Daikun not all of them are spoiler rich kids. Most are the parents of the spoiled rich kids. I had a respect for Alex in Season 1. You knew he was doing things behind the scenes. You knew the story revolved around him. In season 1 you feared him. In season 2 you just hate him.

Overall i wanted closure from season 1. But an OAV would have done that. This is just stringing us along and going "WTF!" in so many places.

Well Alan is a member of the union and a doubleagent of Alex's. I dont think he was so much going to kill Alex. As much as he was just playing with his new arm. If he had wanted to kill Alex he had more then the oppurtunity to do so. He had a chance to kill roger there as well. If he killed both of them off. The Union would have won.

Im suprised we didnt see any posts in here after last nights episode. Which really didnt have much in it. But lets try a recap anyway.

**********SPOILER***********************

In a touching series of scenes Alex tells his father Gordon how much he loves him. Gordon reminds Alex he wiped out his memories. And really the crop isnt ready. Alex cries and tells his dad he loves him .. (sniff almost .. well the voice actor who does Alex still isnt that good. So it did nothing to me). You then see the fields of wheat on fire. And Gordon just standing there. Paradigm, as told you to by Dastun, does not send firetrucks immediatly. Gordon murdered his father.

Alan Gabriel and Angel's Mother meet and shoot each other. Angels mom takes a shot in the gut. Alan appears to have been hit in the head. Im guessing that because when he releases Birk. Well hes either got blood or hair on his face.

Alan Gabriel releases, damn whats his name Berk?! the guy in yellow, to kidnap R. Dorothy. Because Big Fao needs a core memory and dorothy has it.

Roger talks to Dastun and notices that Angels sheet has a bar code. Which then throws our Dominus of Megadeuce into a small seizure. Which he runs away from.

Now its time for the bad guys to get Dorothy. So they send a mass of spiderbots against the mansion. The butler throws up the shields and goes into rambo mode. Dorothy is almost captured when BigO smashes one of the little bots to bits. Roger shows up. And Dorothy is eventually captured. Muttering a hundred things that are probaly vital to the plot. But mostly gibberish. Sometimes I wish we would just squash the tomato references.

Big O comes breaking out of the mansion. Trying to catch dorothy. He fails. End of episode.

********************************************

To be honest Im glad I didnt stay up to watch it. Im rapidly losing interest in this story line. Because it just keeps getting more and more convuluted and just screwed up. Whats the deal with Alex and Gordon? That was unexpected. And really i think in bad taste. Oh well. I'll still be there for next weeks episode

I think that when Gordon didn't recognize Alex as his son, Alex killed his dad because he couldn't bare to see him as a senile old man.

whether you like the second season or not, the creators have become masters of the cliffhanger, to the point where i'd say it almost rivals inuyasha...

lots of stuff here, from angel's past intertwining with the union woman (some sort of maternal figure it would seem), alan and said woman's exchange of words and bullets, beck's return, alex murdering his father, the destruction of roger's mansion, and dorothy being kidnapped, and i'm sure there's more i missed...

it was odd to see beck so uninterested in the attack on roger's mansion...obviously since he wasn't the one in control of the plan, his lack of interest made him seem like a completely different person during his short interaction with mr. smith...

can't forget norman either, who basically proved that he is the best butler ever...was there anyone that didn't chuckle at his "sons of bitches!" line?

and finally, a point unfortunately spoiled by the promos but shocking nonetheless, big duo makes its triumphant return to the scene, effectively blocking a final rescue attempt for dorothy...roger was pushed to his limits when schwartsvald piloted it earlier, and with his mind already in a distorted state, a good fight should be forthcoming next week in the cleverly titled episode "The Big Fight"

I hadnt seen the previews during the week. So the return of Duo really threw me off. And i meant to go edit my review to add that. I agree though they are the kind of the cliffhangers.

I rented Bio O volume 1. And two things from the DVD are noteworthy. One is a text interview with the creators about the show. It answers a lot of questions. And shows where the mind set of the creators was. The second was episode 4. Which i never saw on the previous reruns of the show. When someone talked about proto-deuce. I understand what they meant. I just hadnt seen it. But that episode has a lot of pieces in it we are seeing at this part of season 4. Dorothy's control of the proto-deuce. Her admittance to having memories. And some other pieces in that episode really made me rethink season 2 so far.

Also an addition to this weeks review

NEW WEAPON
=========
Remote control flying anchor. We saw the first one in episode 2. Then we saw the other half of the pair in the orignal battle with Shwartzvald. Season 2 episode 1 gave us the death blossom. This episode shows us that it can also be used as a remotely piloted vehicle.

I dont know if Id want to get it. See when I go into by something that expensize I think about this: Just how many times will I watch this over?
Thats what stopped me from getting the whole 0083 series. After my bro and my self blew about $250 on the Gundam Wing set, and we never even watch those even more.(after seeing the UC sereis AC is crap)

But going back to last sundays eps. I have a bad feeling that the end of the series is going to be rushed and its going to suck OR...Where going to be left with another cliff hanger. Then 2-3 yrs later we MIGHT get to see how this all ends.
