I'll say he's modeled after Telly Savalas, in a fashion.

If only they'd written "Who loves ya, baby?" into a script... Wink

Well my guess as to Lex's ethnicity is that he is white, seeing how all the actors that have played them have been. And that may just be another glaring problem, the coloring of the film. And to Nobuyuki, that image both haunts and entertains me.

That image makes me think of that ep of Robot Chicken where he is car pooling with other villains.

Just because your assuming that since the movies have been white. You can't assume that for the cartoon though.

The part about Ben Affleck getting turned to play Lex in the movie?

The crossover episode with Jennifer Garner in Justice League?

How it all doesnt matter one tiny bit like the movie?

I'll pick the third option. Wink

Although I stand by my Kojak speculation.

But he wasn't evil baby. He was just a cop.

Gotta give the guy credit. I mean to die one day after your 70th birthday takes planning.

I think Vin Diesal would be a good choice to play Lex Luther. BTW I watched the "movie" today and was disappointed with the Lex Luther Character he came across as a whiny weak billionaire brat. Instead of the guy who would spit in supermans face and go toe to toe with anyone who dared him.

I'm sorry but if I saw Vin Diesal playing Luthor I would probably cry. He's OK as an actor but I really don't think he could play the part very well.

I'm always at least a week behind on my Toonami viewing, so I just watched this movie.

As many have pointed out Brainiac Attacks does not live up to the high expectations we've gotten accustomed to with Superman: TAS and Justice League/Unlimited.

However, I didn't find the movie to be all that bad. There were some parts that were a little cheesy, mostly Luthor trying to be funny, but the rest had a fairly good story, good action, good fights, and lots of stuff blowing up.

Sure, it doesn't really fit in with the other DCAU continuity, like how Brianiac calls Superman "Son of Krypton" instead of "Kalel", but the story and the attempts at comedy were an interesting change from what we're used to.

As long as they don't make all Superman movies/series like this, I'll let them get away with it this one time.

3.5 out of 5

To answer your part about not making more like this. Two words.

"The Superman"

(cringe)
Think about Big Blue done in the whole "The Batman" mold. The Daily Planet would be a webshop of some type. Who knows what would happen to Lois Lane. Jimmy would have a digital camera, wear sandals, and just slack all day.

Superman would be 21 and mope around emo about how bad life is as a superhero.
