So, will all general animation discussion (Spookmonkey's newsposts, animation release dates, American productions, et al.) go to the ANIME forum?

on a similar topic, i just wanna make sure i understand what topics go where so i can update the board faq...
i'm assuming that "Toonami/Almost Toonami" will house conversation on shows that have some relation to toonami, but may also include similar blocks of programming (adult swim, sves, kids wb and the like...)
"Anime Discussion" basically concerns everything else then, like movies, new shows in development, american animation, etc., or at least that's the impression i'm currently under...

Way I see it: Toonami forum = anthing airing in, or going to air in America.
Anime = anything that is not airing in America.
There is that grey area, however, with shows like Macross. That could go in either. But for EVA, that's Anime. I suppose you could talk about Cowboy Bebop in the Anime area, but you could ALSO talk about it in the Toonami area, since that's really like the "Stuff in America, Mostly Cartoon Newtork, more specifically Toonami but AS will do too" forum.

It just feels to me that there isn't a real place for discussion on this board for all animation. With the Toonami/Almost Toonami board and the Anime Board now neither feel like there is a home for things like Looney Tunes, Disney, ect. If the anime board was renamed, oh, I don't know... oddly enough, the first version of the "For New Members" faq i typed up when there were at most ten seperate boards (Site Discussion, Toonami Discussion, Almost Toonami, Anime Discussion, Mini-Rants, The Never-Ending Forum, Semi-Anime Related Babble, Miscellaneous Babble, Video Game Forum, and PDF War Room) had no real place mentioned for all of animation...
i mentioned earlier that i was assuming the "Anime Discussion" board would also be the place for general animation discussion...perhaps altering it to "Anime/Animation Discussion" would work? _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

You guys really are making it too complicated.
Anime Discussion....anything animated Disney, Japanese, British, Mexican whatever. That is not airing on toonami.
Toonami/Almost Toonami.....anything related to toonami, or cartoon network. Threads for shows airing on Cartoon Network currently lke Trigun the thread or Yu Yu Hakusho. Stuff that's been off the air for a while like Sailor Moon goes in anime discussion.
Semi-Animated related babble is for stuff that doesn't seem to go in either. Such as Character fight threads. But still has to do with animation.
