The source file for that intro was a bitch to begin with.
It all depends on which video player you use.
Windows Media Player v9 with the new MPEG-4 codec plays it just fine. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Also, the open source players VLC and mplayer play it just fine. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

...for the record, Trellis Quantization and Qpel motion estimation were used with DivX5 for that file. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

Guess i'll have to try the free media players cause i still get those block glitches to the point where the audio is off kilter... and thats using the Windows Media Player 9 and Winamp. The Divx playa will not recognize the audio on the video but it still glitches. Beefy, what did you use to rip it from the DVD? I got plenty of free time and i'll try it on either the first .hack//SIGN or .hack//Liminallity DVD. |

I use DVD Decrypter for my ripping. I tried both the Liminality and SIGN DVDs. The file off the Liminality DVD is larger because the bitrate is higher. You're welcome to try ripping it yourself, but I think Tyler did a damn good job.
If you have Windows Media Player v9 then select the Help menu and "Check For Player Updates" download the ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder and it should play fine. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."
