The game is fun, just difficult. I almost beat the game until you need a cod to unlock type of areas happen. They don't give you a clue to it. Also, the camera becomes a problem. Luckily, the graphics, level design, and extras make up for this.

my bro. bought Mario Golf, i haven't played it much but it looks promising, i remeber i loved the other one. I like golf games, the graphics are sweet, and the new system gives a little more challenge, along with more play modes than before. It's rentable but i'm glad i have it.

GameShark Media Player connects Mac, PlayStation 2

Game console peripheral maker Mad Catz Interactive Inc. has announced the release of the GameShark Media Player. It's enhancement software aimed at Mac OS X, Windows and Linux users who want to connect their computers to their television or home entertainment systems using their networked PlayStation 2 as a bridge.
Sony's PlayStation 2 video game console is now available in a networked edition that integrated LAN-based networking; a separate $50 adapter is also available for older units. PlayStation 2 consoles can also be connected to wireless networks using third-party 802.11b and 802.11g Ethernet bridge adapters. The GameShark Media Adapter takes advantage of this connectivity by enabling Mac, Windows and Linux users to stream digital media from their computers to the PlayStation 2.
The GameShark Media Player is compatible with popular media formats including MPEG-1, 2 and 4 formats; DivX; MP3; JPEG and more. The software also employs parental controls to restrict the kind of content that can be broadcast between the computer and the console.
Other features of the GameShark Media Player include support for 16:9 display ratio and progressive scan (480p) output when using HDTV and component cabling; auto-configuration network setup; VCR functions like fast-forward, rewind, pause, stop and play; and multi-server, multi-client support.
The GameShark Media Player retails for US$49.99.

Wario has done it again. After turning the world of minigames upside down on the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo has decided to make a sequel for Gamecube.
The twist this time is that the game is geared more towards the multiplayer experience. The Japanese title for the sequel, Atsumare! Made in Wario, roughly translates to "Gather Around! Made in Wario!"
The game will feature 200 mini games, and new party style rules have been implemented, included a feature known as Popping Balloon. In Popping Balloon, players take turns playing mini games, while the others can kill time by blowing up a balloon on screen by rapidly pressing a button. Whoever is playing the minigame when the balloon pops is the loser.
The game is scheduled to hit Japanese stores on October 17th.

According to a variety of sources, Sony's Ken Kutaragi recently told the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun that the upcoming Playstation 3 will be backwards compatible with both Playstation 2 and PSOne software, both of which are achieved through software emulation.
In other news, Sony has also discredited a rumor that it is in talks with graphic chip manufacturer Nvidia to produce the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) for the console. The rumor originated from a CNN article and has been described by a senior source from Sony as "ridiculous". _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

The release of the PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of Rebellion's upcoming Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death has been pushed back a bit to early October, with a specific date still forthcoming. The GameCube version will ship on November 21 as scheduled. The reason for the delay is not explicitly stated, but is likely connected to a duplication error at a third party, resulting in unfinished beta builds of the game having been sent out for review as 'final versions'.
