Anyway, most AMV-makers will say that ripping DVD files will get you the best quality for music vids (if that's what you are asking for.) Otherwise, I don't think I can help you much.

-200 points for not joining www.animemusicvideos.org and finding more info than his brain can handle about the AMV hobby.
and finally,
