So with Toonami coming back, we're all kind of in the dark on what will be airing. That being said, what would you like to see make its way to the new block? Personally, since this isn't going to suffer from as much censorship as the original, I'd like to see Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann brought over. For that matter, I'd like to see a lot of the anime Sci-fi was running, brought over. Perhaps Gundam 00? Anyways, what would you guys like to see make its way over to the new line-up? _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

It'd be nice to see if they could bring back BATMAN:TAS or Batman Beyond. As for anime. Maybe a comedy like Love Hina. My only other recent favorite have been Black Butler, Spice and Wolf, or Haruhi. _________________ Bang.

I think Haruhi would be great for it but I'm not sure how an american audience would handle the Endless Eight. I sat down and watched all eight in a row and enjoyed the slight differences but I remember watching it when it was airing, and I hated that for two months I had to watch the same thing over and over again.
If we're going to suggest older anime as well, like love hina, how about Full Metal Panic or GTO? _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!
Maybe kick off some new One Piece or its clone knockoff.
Or see if they have enough marbles to air Panty & Stocking. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I was just spitballin' show titles, like say... InuYasha: The Final Act? _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

You know, to be honest, I'm surprised they never aired Final Act especially considering they occasionally still air the series early mornings. Also, having seen part of Panty and Stocking, I'd say that would be so very very borderline but I would love to see it on there.
Here's what I see happening in the near future. From what we can tell, they'll probably start by airing the shows that did the absolute best back in the day, gauging how well they continue to do for the short term while they make the arguments for licensing newer shows. That being said, I'm thinking much of the April Fool's Day lineup will return. Probably going to see Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, or Tenchi.
While I'm looking into the crystal ball, I also see the next April Fool's Day lineup consisting of Hamtaro, Cardcaptors, SD Gundam, and Johnny Quest. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

FUNimation has just confirmed that AS hasn't picked it up (they don't see the fan demand) and have launched a Twitter campaign to get it on Toonami in the future.
If you want it on, help them out. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

Just thought of something. I was thinking for shows that would be cheap to air and appeal to the older toonami fans, why not use the repeat slots and air something like Robotech? Oh wait, another idea. I wonder if they could air ADV's dub of Macross? Anyways, you get what I'm saying. Hopefully, the ratings are decent enough to warrant something like that.
EDIT: Also, needs more Fate. Stay Night might be okay enough for airing over here but i'm not sure about Zero. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

ADV is no longer around, so unless someone else rescues the license (which, to my knowledge, hasn't happened yet), no one can air it. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015
But otherwise Daikun's right. The Macross rights have reverted back to Harmony Gold, and they're holding off while trying to develop their live-action Robotech movie.
Although folks can still see it on Hulu. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Never before did I ever imagine seeing condom commercials on toonami, much less the same one three times in one commercial break.

Well, I knew ADV died and became something else a while ago but I believe their licenses transferred over. But again, I'm not 100% sure of that. Harmony Gold still has an Iron grip on the property though, so I'm not sure what Williams' Street could do with it. Then again, if HG really is still pushing for a live action Robotech, theres a chance they may allow the series to be aired again on some channel. I just wish HG would finally let go of Macross so we could get a legal copy of Macross Frontier over here. Now that was a badass series. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

I started off on Cardcaptors and years later, finished the series by watching Card Captor Sakura. There were so many things cut out, its amazing they had a series left to air. But yeah, it wasn't bad. Catchy theme song. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

Hey if we learned anything from One Piece its that you can butcher and edit an anime entirely and piece back together with duct tape and glue and still make it a somewhat coherant series.
