Hey, anyone else get the willies from the looks that relena gives in the ending? It just looks wrong... not perverted wrong but more like, shes got on black leather and a whip, wrong. I almost wish that rhino had dropped one on her. Could just be me but anyone else notice that? |

I'm just gonna pull that out of context for a cheap laugh.

The reason why you never saw it on CN was because they took it out and replaced it with a time-saving 30-sec one. And Nobu I am in awe of your out of context skillz. _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

You know it's funny. In the GW manga, there's an SD comic that mentions how Relena looks in the credits. _________________ "Just checking."

Even if Relena's fun with the animals makes no sense, and the song seems a little out of place(well... if you get the lyrics to almost any anime OP or ED...)- it still sounds nice. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

Oh yes, those "Domon W" GundamW and G Gundam crossover comic strips. There are some pretty funny ones, including Relena bashing. XP
And as for the one that talks about the ending sequence, take a look at it here: http://www.shugotenshi.net/aznsage/doujinshi.html under "Scary Look".
Though the first part of it is making fun of Lady Une. (I wonder if she even has a real name?)

You know I just saw that ending yesterday and I must say its pretty wierd. I never really cared for Relena much anyway but now... I am glad that I am not Heero! |

One thing that must be taken into account is that Relena is not necessarily in love with Heero. In the TV series all we see is what happened after the start of operation meteor except for the few flash backs. In Endless Waltz we see a less often noticed side of Heero when he goes after Relena.
The story is long but, someone who looked remarkably like Heero had attended the Darlin Institute well before the start of the TV series under a completely different identity to do scouting for a rebel group. He gave Relena the same type of treatment that Heero does in the series but Relena just left him alone because unlike in the series she was also quite and withdrawn, but she did want to get to know him. The introduction scene in the TV show—when Heero speeds off in the ambulance—Is the beginning of Relena’s more outward going nature.
I think that while Relena has feelings for Heero, they are more of a challenge to get to know him than anything else. Heero seems to have a desire to protect Relena; however, those seem to stem from his past when he killed “that girl and her dog” and his desire not to repeat past mistakes.
What a tangled web, chasing after one another because of someone else they met that looked remarkably similar to the person in the TV series. There is a remote possibility that both the boy and the girl in question were Heero and Relena, but there are no records in existence of which I am aware capable of proving their identities.
BTW -- For those of you who don’t want to read the above dissertation, get Episode Zero. I only know of it existing in manga form but it is the prequel to the TV series and reveals information that will completely change your perception of at least one character, if not the entire series. _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C. |
