Post subject: Cowboy Bebop: The Movie hits TV!
|
|
|

Those of you who haven't seen it in the theaters can now finally catch Cowboy Bebop: The Movie on the tiny silver screen!
However, our chances of it hitting Cartoon Network are slim now, because it will NOT be airing on Adult Swim. Wha--?!
Instead, it'll be airing on STARZ. Yeah, that's right. STARZ. It sucks that it won't be airing on AS (after all, CB is the block's flagship show), but there's an upside to it: STARZ airs their anime uncut, so don't expect any edits made to this movie, since there's some stuff in it that Adult Swim couldn't show.
Here are the times it'll be airing (all times EST):
Thursday, January 15 @11PM
Sunday, January 18 @11:30AM
Friday, January 23 @5:05PM
Wednesday, January 28 @12:30PM
Thursday, January 29 @4:10AM
Sunday, February 1 @1:10AM
Tuesday, February 3 @3:30PM |

Yey! I knew forcing my parents to get the Starz package would eventually pay off. _________________ There is limited intelligence in the galaxy, but the stupidity of the universe is infinite. |

I own it on DVD so I don’t mind that I don’t have Starz. This is probably one of the few anime movies I thought was done well. Ghost in the shell, Ninja Scroll, Evangelion, Sprigan. They all really sucked in my opinion because the plots were rushed to get to the action. _________________ To err is human, to forgive is prime.

I have a copy of all the Bebop DVD's; plus I saw the Cowboy Bebop movie at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago. It's a really neat old theatre. In any case, I watched the fan sub of KOHD as soon as it was on the internet for about 2 weeks (I had to use dial-up at the time). I personaly liked the fan-sub better than the dub but I know that if they used a translation like that only people who followed the series would be able to really understand the movie in a meaning-full way. My Dad came with me for some father son bonding; he was a sleep in 5 minutes. _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C. |

Prime, I've been yelled at for talking about the Eva movie, but your reasoning about it having a rushed plot is flawed. _________________ You're An Inu (Dog)!

You brought it up here. Anyway, I was rushed last time.
Think for a second, either your assertion is flawed and you have forgotten the plot is not crammed into a movie but streched over 26 episodes, or you believe 26 episodes is not enough room for the Eva plot. _________________ You're An Inu (Dog)!

I said nothing of the sort. And that last post had absolutly nothing relating to the formal topic of the thread nor peanut butter. There for it belongs else where.
BTW - Eva's plot was as slow as an eighty mile-per-hour train wreck.
ON SUBJECT:
I spilled peanut butter on my new case print out. I downloaded a whole bunch of fan DVD covers about a year ago. I just found them and made a PB&J while they printed.
The moral of the story. Don't eat peanut butter over print outs. _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C. |

Sweet. I got the Starz package for Encore Action and LOTR (Fist of the North Star >>>> SD Gundam) and now it seems to be paying off more. _________________ Sometimes I miss my sanity- Wedge Antilles |

10 bucks says I'll miss every one of those showings on account of not being home. |
