I used to hate CounterStrike, but now, I'm not so sure. It's still massively overrated, but not Halo 2 overrated.

I've only played the HL2 Demo, it was... sweet I can say so much more, and not cover what even the demo did. The saw blades with the gravity gun... you can lodge it in walls. If you shoot the paint cans at mosters they get covered with paint. its all just so cool... and scary. and the jeep thing was pretty sweet too impulse 82 I think.

And CS has always been good, and not overrated. Because playing against other people like that, without respawn... adds something.

I have the third one. It's GREAT!! The Saiyan Overdrive is incredible!!! You should get it.... when and if you get a whole lot of money.

When in doubt rent the game. I'd rather spend about 5$-6$ then 50$(or 20$ if your talking about an older game) to find out I hate a game

I've never rented a game before. I guess I should have considered renting before I bought the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker game on Playstation. That game was a waste of money and time.

I'm saving my money to buy a Playstation 2. So far I've saved up $34.00.
I don't know what games I'll get yet. I have to wait until I get the system.

if it took you more then 2 weeks to save that much money, it will take you a long time to have enough for a PS2. That should be plenty of time to think of which games you want.

True. There are so many good titles to choose from but, my interests would mostly consist of fighting and adventure games.

My favorite game of last year in terms of fun; Armored Core: Nexus

Why may you ask? I am a mech-fight enthusiast, the more customization the better.

I was wondering if Armored core games are good. Can you please write me a little review of this game?

The one that Tom rated on Toonami looked pretty good. I think it was called Mech Assault.

Eww.... Mechassault is an often game. It's Mechwarrior's retarted little brother. Come to think of it, most XBox games are retarted iterations of their genre. DOA 3 is a dumbed-down fighting game, DOA EBV is a dumbed-down sports game, Mechassault and Mechassault 2 a basterdized retarted versions of Mechwarrior, I thought of some others, but they slip my mind at the moment.
