Hmmm I didn't think the ending was that similar to AMG! the movie.... But then again I haven't watched it in a while. But anyway I started ToS again to get more titles(and Costumes), I must say Sheena's Swimsuit was the my favorite(I wish people would give you a reaction based on what you were wearing). I should have went with 2X exp... But I didn't have the points for it.

I'm about to beat ToS. Highest Combo? 135. It's easy once you know how.

Abyssion, by the way, depsite what the FAQs on Gamefaqs will try to tell you, is remarkably easy.

My one complaint is that Summoning should be more useful. I've only used 2 summons in battle, and both times were because I switched over to Sheena manually and selected the summons that I wanted to see.

Oh well, I'm just cleaning some stuff up before I finish, getting some titles and whatnot.

I need to fight Abyssion this time.... I tried once but my level was far to low. I went to beat the game thinking I would be able to go back...but I forgot I had no space on my card to save another game....

And yeah I wish Summoning was more useful.... I loved Sheena and all I just wished she would be able to use her summons more freely. Also am I the only one that hates Genis(what ever his name is)....

I also think I should try different party memebrs... I tended to stick with the same members...

The summons deffinately should've at least shown up a few more times. Sheena rarely gets an over limit. I think maybe her level 2 personal should've done something like add to how fast her O.L. meter builds, or something like that. The game also doesn't feel quite done. There are little side quests around the world that just beg to be more intigrated into the plot. A third disc would've been nice, just to hear every piece of plot dialogue (minus the asides) voice acted. Maxwell had a voice actor, and you don't even need to ever once see him (and you have to look hard at it as things are). And of course, there's the camera thing. I most certainly loved to have waited another few months and paid $20 more for the developers to polish the game a little more.

And FDD: I think Baten Kaitos will blow everything away. It looks more polished than ToS, has many more a cut scene (although the 4 or 5 in ToS were amazing), and once again has the work of Kosuke Fujishima behind it (if only the bum would draw more Goddess manga...).

Genis pwns if you hook him up with Indignation, Prism Sword, and Meteor Storm. Plus, he's the key to getting huge combos and heavy-damaging combos. The highets hitting compound unison attack is for Lloyd and Collete, as it fires 120 stars at an enemy, but at least 60 of those will miss even the largest enemy. Raine with Ray and Genis with Indignation (or Ground Dasher or Explosion or one of 2 other movies) will do a 50 his compund unison attack that will, on it's own, deal 3000 damage at minimum.

well, thanks to all the hype given to tales of symphonia over the past month or so, i was able to convince a gamecube-owning friend to give it a shot, and though rpg's aren't exactly his thing, he said he was enjoying it quite a bit due to the mostly hack-and-slashish battle system...

of course, i got to hang out with him yesterday and get a first-hand glimpse...just watching it was cool, but when i got the idea of trying to use another controller and play, the both of us began to tear it up...truely a fun game, and i hope more follow suit...

Star Ocean 3's subtitle should be: We know that two Namco RPGs that are better than this one are releasing on either side of our game, but you're a consumer whore and will by this game out of nostalgia.
I think FFXII will have a similar marketing approach.
Now me--I'm a consumer whore who'll buy anything with Kosuke Fujishima's name on it.

just thought I'd mention that the www.shining-force.jp has been updated to an actual website with character art and screenshots. It's real purdy.
