I'd do it if I wasn't grounded from every videogame but DDR...

Mah Dad: You can do that anytime you want. It's like excersize, but more to your style I guess

taking it apart generally won't tell you how big a ram chip is or how fast the processor is (hell, what kind it is either).

dxdiag will tell you how much memory you have, and generally what processor and how fast it is.

for how much space you have, right click on the C: and hit properties, that will tell you how much space and stuff

now, you have to understand, memory is not the same thing as space,
Memory= RAM , usually you'll have like 128 MB ram or something like that
essentially the short term computer memory
Space= hard drive space usually comes in Gigabytes(GB) and it is essentially where you put stuff to remember for later.

Though I am widely considered to be one of the smartest kids in sophomore year, I have no idea what most of this Computer babble means, I just know my PC (which was given to me after it spent five years as our family's computer) works.

well, not too long
here we have a hard drive it is 300GB.
Funny thing about what you said, A terabit, is a lot different than a terabyte.
300GB=.3TBx8=2.4Tb so there you have it, a 300Gigabyte hard drive, is approx 2.4 terabits, but only .3 terabytes. Terabytes will prolly be here in a couple years

In the end, that's the most important fact you need to know (says the guy who uses a 6 year-old PowerBook). Wink

Now Hitachi boasts 400GB hard drive
By Chris Mellor, Techworld.com
March 10, 2004 1:10 pm ET
Hitachi Ltd. has continued its my-hard-disk's-bigger-than-yours fight with Fujitsu Software Technology Corp. with the announcement of a 400GB, 3.5 inch drive. The Deskstar 7K400 is the highest-capacity 3.5 inch ATA drive and spins at 7,200rpm.
The 400GB drive announcement comes just a fortnight after HGST announced a five-platter 300GB drive, which it proudly stated was the highest-ever capacity, enterprise-class hard drive ever built.

Unless you have no objections to an external unit:http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?id=10118. Very Happy

(Reasonable pricing issues aside, of course) Wink
