How could CN demand Funi cut up Blue Gender and leave Furi Kuri alone? Either Funi is run by doormats, or they're full of shit.
When it's an option between one thing or Funimation being full of shit... I think the answer's obvious.

First, Yuji gets blown off the wimpy-ass dune buggy they're all riding on. Ha ha.
Then, the episode was like "Oh look at me! I'm the obvious loving native girl who's the daughter of the head priest guy who tells me not to fall in love with this foreigner I rescued! Uh oh, I did." Also, Yuji defended the nomad tribe peoples from some rogue security force demanding supplies (+ women) by stealing their mech.
What really sets this episode out is that it is a setup episode. At the end, the girl pretty much jumps on top of Yuji, and they wake up (with magically appearing bedsheets...FUNi's doing?). The girl is butt-nekkid (behind the sheets), and Marlene and Dice are coming into view along the road...
Yeah, and I guess Dice sorta kinda notices Marlene thinking about Yuji. So the setup is that "Oh shit marlene's here and here's this chick...at least Trojan Man is on my side!". _________________ "KUSANAGI!"
