I belive its call Shello. I think that the person with the best chance to win now would be Kerry. His supporters make the best cookies which is cruciel to swinging voters in a caucus. Laughing

But 'm still voting for Bush

Eh, I've been with Kerry since I saw him debating in Iowa.

I think Wesley Clark is also qualified. He's been successfully involved in Politics, Buisness, and the Military.

Oh and if you're not a democrat, shame on you. Besides there's not a snowball's chance in hell of any other republican beating the grand-daddy of them all; Bush.

I'm happy with anyone as long as it isn't Bush, Lieberman, or Sharpton. I just don't like them.

Whatever. I don't care what their parties are, I just don't like any of them.

George Washington was right, parties should not exist. It messes everything up. I'm not a 'democrat'. But I happen to like the environment, and I am also annoyed that the average pay differential between the average American CEO to the average peon-worker is 531:1. Yes, 5-3-1 to 1. In Japan it's 10:1. Brazil? Something like 20:1. In Europe, it hovers in the 10s and 20s. So why the bloody hell do we give tax cuts to the Rich? Screw them. The poor are the ones that need the money. And the Rich don't need 5 fucking beach houses and a moon base.

And unfounded wars that make the whole world hate us can go die.

i've really had trouble finding a candidate for this, the first presidential election i can vote in (because i had to be 17 in 2000)...i haven't really cared for dean, sharpton's a joke, lieberman's past actions have pushed me too far away, and gephart (who isn't running anymore, but worth mentioning) was very unconvincing...

out of what's left, i rather like edwards "nice guy" approach, but i don't know anything concerning what he plans to actually do in office...clark has looked alright to me as a viable candidate as well, but again, i don't know about his future plans...

i should mention that while i have nothing against kerry, even with his win in new hampshire, he really hasn't done anything to make me care about him (yet at least)...

i guess how it stands now is i'd back edwards or clark, with the possibility of kerry after i learn more about him, but i've always hated the two-party system of america, so i may end up backing a third party come september...

we're going to Oregon, Texas, to new Hampshire, South Dakota, and then we're gong to Washington D.C. to take back the whitehouse!!!!
RAAAGH!
=P

My local rock station, ZETA, makes fun of that clip so much. They already have several parody songs that they play on the morning show. Super hilarious.

oh and I can't vote yet so w/e.

peace

just for the record, liberman dropped his support for the anti-game-violence bill almost a year ago. making racist comments i find rather unnerving. oh wait, he's a jew, so that doesn't count. Mad no, i'm not jewish. But i can't stand bigotry.
now back on topic, i hate bush. always have. his backers play dirty while he pretends to be innocent and sincere. (you know he won governor by having his press man finance an independent group to run ads accusing the incumbent of being a lesbian?) don't even get me started on the whole "weapons of mass destruction" bit, or the patriot act for that matter. ANYONE can be accused of "terrorism" without any proof, or having done anything, and can then be held indefinately without bond, a subpoena, or even a press release. They don't even have to tell anyone your name. No charges have to be filed. ever. Writ of Habeus Corpus ring any bells with anyone? grr. anyway.
Outside of the super-religious anti-violence stint, and changing opinions, i haven't had problems with liberman, although he'll never win a primary for president. gephart was an ass, dean is a bit of a joke as far as ever becoming president, kerry is rather nebulous as far as actual stances. clark is... *cough*. I'll put it this way. He's a slightly moderated bush with an IQ of over 75. those are the good points. Al Sharpton... is he still considered to be running? I suppose 1.3% is considered "in the race"
*Lecture mode ON*Now a bigger question. DO YOU CARE? if you do, good. If you don't, WHY THE HELL NOT? It's called a democracy for a reason. If you don't vote at the very least, then I don't EVER want to hear you complain about taxes, federal regulations, copyright laws, police, schools, or anything else. And you're still being a completely useless citizen. *Lecture mode OFF*
Oh, and I'm glad to know most of you don't give a rat's ass about anybody but yourself. I hope you grow up by somewhere around the time you ARE old enough to vote.
Right. Bringing up politics=bad idea. ^^

I don't have a political stance. Basically because I don't have much time to go see what the politicians say they believe. They do what they want anyway. I usually don't even remember to vote... which reminds me I have to file a change of address. But really, I don't have the time to figure out the lesser of the evils. Nor do I wish to try.

That and I don't know what I want in a political leader...

There are no elections. We live in Bush's world order dictatorship. This thread is silly.
