I want all three DBZ:Budokai games because they look like some of the best fighting games ever brought out.

haha, I'm not a big fan of 3D fighting games. I don't mind watching some play a game like DOA2. But I love a 2D fighter

I think Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat should merge together to make a game called "Street Figter vs Mortal Kombat: Battle of the Greatest". That would be incredible.

I guess I might as well pop back up on this one.

Iv played Halo 2, and Half Life 2, and when it comes down to it they are just first person shootting games. If you've played one you've played them all. Only diffrence is graphs, AI story and etc.

FOr me, I was all about Metal Gear Solid 3. How many other games are out there like that? I mean sneaking mission types. You have to use stratgy, and what ever weapons and equipment you have to surive. There is sooooo much you can do in that game its not even funny. Plus by far the best story and graphics I have ever seen.

Finally played Half-Life 2. Great googly moogly. The feel of this game is indescribably cool...it oozes it. One thing you don't hear much about HL2: scary. There's the constant feeling that anything could happen to you at any time. Damn near all the aliens I've seen so far either burrow or hang from the ceiling in the shadows, and the security personnel are...just plain creepy. You feel like George Orwell is looking over your shoulder and writing everything that happens. It gets so tense at times that whenever you see the lambda symbol spraypainted onto something, you nearly cheer and kiss the groud, just because you know you're now among friends. Oh, and there's a gravity gun...my God, the gravity gun. And the head crab is the most horrific thing I have ever seen in my life. Incredible game.

Agreed, there is no where in which HL2 does not shine.

The graphics and pysics make me squirm. I litterally spend a half hour just hitting the crap out of eviscerated zombing hanging on a tree like a grotesque pinata. It reacted exactly as it would IRL, there was no wild flying and it retained momentum for quite a while. You can shoot EVERYTHING. Just walking along you see something that looks just like a background, but it's an actual 3d modeled crow, when I came near it turned its head to look at me and with one smack and it was a dead 3d crow that would spew feathers when hit.

The sound is so...minimalistic, you dont have blaring techno tracks or goth metal trying to keep you awake, just very demure tones and sounds effects that blended perfectly.

I could go on and on about all the little things that make this game so amazingly superior, like cutting down multiple zombie with a 20" saw blade that ricochets off the wall. Or dropping a car on top of them.

But what makes this game more than just a "pretty" game is the fact that Valve was able to take a step back and always ask themselve "is this fun to play". The answer is always yes, you go through the game wanting to see the end, you live it.

Not to mention that HL2 is not just a single great game. Like the previous HL it is a platform in itself. When you add on games like CS, Deathmatch, DOD it's like getting a bunch of Game of the Years, for the price of one. No other game can compete with the playtime.
