I'd actually like to see some of Leiji Matsumoto's stuff, like Galaxy Express 999 or maybe some of his mini-series'.

Shows... Toonami needs new shows. It doesn't all have to be anime.

Alrighty, thats agreeable. However, I am sure a lot of people would PREFER some anime over American animation.

How many people would complain if a show like X-Men: Evo or Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot joined Toonami? I still think Sam & Max needs to find a home on Adult Swim.

The problem is that Disney holds the rights to some of the BEST american action cartoons (aside from the Timm toons).

Disney doesn't know how to take care of their properties either... the only one they care about is Power Rangers... everything else Saban has done might as well have never existed (except for maybe Digimon).

Big Guy and Rusty on Toonami... never thought of that one.

Sam & Max was hillarious. I guess it could be AS but ya know... it's still a kids show (but than again so was... ugh the ripping firends). I'd love for Lucas Arts and Cartoon Network studios to make a new Sam & Max series for Adult Swim. That would be tight!

As for what Disney has that would be awesome on Toonami...

All the Marvel toons... especialy Spider-Man and X-Men
Gargoyles
Digimon (I don't know... I've always found it more worthy of Toonami than Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh!)
Escaflowne (of course it would be MUCH better less edited)
Samurai Pizza Cats (SD Gundam really reminds me of this great quirky show)

As for what CN already has in their grasp that would be great for Toonami:

Jackie Chan Adventures
X-Men: Evolution
SWAT Cats (never did air on Toonami)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the new one)
Teen Titans (it'll go there some day I'm sure)

Well, I do agree they need some new American cartoons. But they have to be good. I know it might kill many of you, but I absolutely HATE X Men: Evolution. I WOULD be happy, though, if they put on the original X Men cartoon. That was some good stuff. Evo makes me cringe actually. And Esclaflowne would be AWESOME, but it would probobly be better on AS because they wouldn't have to edit it quite as much.

No, thankyouverymuch.
AS should be used to broadcast shows that appeal to adults and older teens, not as an excuse to run less-edited shows that would have greater appeal to kids and younger teens who would watch Toonami and/or SVES. We're past those days of Toonami filler on AS.

Place the shows to the intended audience. If edits are needed to get it to that audience, so be it.

You know, I bet you it was the first season that made you cringe so badly. After the first season they basicly left the High School aspect behind and went straight for the badicalness.

I should give it another try...

But Nobu, that show is better uncut. I wouldn't complain if it was on Toonami, but I think it would be better on AS.

But it's not a show for adult audiences. It's aimed at teenagers, therefore it should be placed on a programming block that caters to teenagers.
That's my position.

The argument is pointless anyway, since Disney/Saban still holds broadcasting rights for the near future.
