For those of you who live in a cave The Matrix Reloaded will be coming to theators this wednessday. I have tickets for the 12:01 AM showing and the theater is going to play the first Animatrix episode before the movie starts so I’m super excited. Any one else going to see it opening day?

Anyway, discuss The Matrix Reloaded here and here’s a little present to help you pass the time until it starts.

I already saw "Final Flight of the Osiris" when it was attached to the movie Dreamcatcher. I'm not gonna spoil anything. There isn't much to tell, anyway (you'll see why when you watch it), but I will tell you this: It's mind-blowingly awesome. You'll love it!

And I'm gonna go see The Matrix Reloaded on its opening day. You're not alone.

Well, not much to tell except best. Computer animation. Ever. Square did a better job than on Final Fantasy. When I saw the opening scene, I said to myself, "hey, this is supposed to be animated!" It is honestly THAT good. Although it does drop in quality a tiny bit, but not much. I've seen all nine parts of the thing, all of them quite awesome. Get a look at Beyond if you can. By far the best.

Hopefully, I plan to see it on Thursday with my friends. If not friday, and if that fails. I'll have to wait till Sunday to watch it with my family. Confused

Over here, Reloaded premires the same night as the prom. Considering that half of our class isn't going, I'm heading to see Reloaded.

I like my cave. Besides, I thought Reloaded opens on Thursday, not Wednesday. Whatever day it opens, I'll be there.

Anyway, I'd just like to say it's amazing how much video compression technology has improved since 1999. I have the trailer from the first Matrix film in QuickTime 3 format at 480x206. It's OK; there's some tiling during some of the fast moving, highly lit, action scenes.

Now we have QuickTime 6. I got the Reloaded trailer in 1000x540 and it looks beautiful. So if you've got the disk space and the bandwidth, download the trailers and the TV spots off the Matrix website. My favorite TV spot is "No Escape"

BTW, Reloaded doesn't open in Japan until June 7th, so be glad you live here!

we tend to get the hollywood movies before the european or asain markets get them; it's not new or unique that a movie opens here first. yeeah.

aparently I'm seeing one of the first showings wednesday night. I got home to find a messege stating that my pressence was required wednesday night to see the matrix. even more interesting is that the messege is from the guy who hates paying for movies especially if they arent matinee showings.
