Post subject: Is there going to be a Toonami Cd for 06?
|
|

Is it only me....but don't you think we should have another toonami megamix cd out.
I mean....there are so many new tracks out there that I just want to listen to it's driving me nuts.
I know they still use old tracks here and there...but there are new ones, ever since the one piece premiere and the second season of teen titans.
So...does anyone think there is going be a new CD in the future...or Black Hole Megamix was the finale?
Ohh plus who is the new DJ they hired?.......Or is it the same one?
Please enlighten me.....you wise-guys and wise-gals... |

The first Toonami CD (Deep Space Bass) didn't sell well enough in the eyes of the Time Warner big shots. The music on this CD was done by Joe Boyd Vigil, who is no longer with Time Warner.
As a result of the poor sales of the first CD, the second Toonami CD (Black Hole Megamix) was never released.
The the release of a third Toonami CD seems unlikely.
However, the made-for-Toonami series IGPX uses a lot of NinjaTune music (the music used for the Toonami promos and intros), so we might see an IGPX CD this year depending on how well IGPX does in the ratings. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Some tracks are from ninjatune.net eh? That's cool, thanks for the link.
But I was pretty sure I heard some tracks from deep space bass on IGPX.
Yeah and it is messed up to think that we will probably never get a
solid toonami cd in the near future....Ohh well, "we live in hope."
I guess I really should of asked when would we get an AS Cd?...O.O!
but that's a whole different topic...lol |

IGPX contains music from both Ninja Tune and Joe Boyd Vigil (Toonami's original musical maestro), although NT has been taking up the majority of Toonami's tunes since Joe left. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015 |
