I'm already posting off topic. After all, the thread's about Bono's love life. Where did you think never-ending threads started?

sadly, they usually don't end well. Strangely enough my "pick which girl" situation did, but that was cuz the one girl saud i'll support you whatever you choose, and she did.

hehe, doable, but i don't think it's the way to go.
And she won't want to break up with me, kill me maybe, but not break up.
Razz
The things is, it's weird, sometimes I feel totally fine and sometimes I feel totally sick by it. Like right now I'm fine, but sometime tomorrow I'll be annoyed.
Anyone gone through this?
peace

There!
Happy?
Just normal mood swings... I get them, John gets them. FAK is online to much so MMO's have absorbed his soul already.

Are you insinuating something, doug? I'm very proud of my large nipples!

John, from what you just said, I get the feeling you're also trying to tell us that the "drama" never ends, even after high school. Right?

Drama never ends?! It only gets worse, my friend. What happens when you're hundreds of miles away from home, or your parents consider you a respinsilbe adult and you have lots of free time. The drama does indeed never end, my friend.

Greer: From things I've heard about my parent's workplaces, everyone acts like high school for the rest of their lives. Once you've hit senior year of highschool you've peaked on the average maturity scale.

Which sucks.

Goldfinger: My friend was in a 2 year 'forever' relationship, and that's the closest it comes to personal experience with me. The end of htat doesn't apply here, however.

As far as my own experience, I was bored, slightly annoyed, and she=likes-me-much-more-than-I-like-her with my girlfriend when I broke it off. Only difference is that mine was only 4 months. You'rs has been about 6 times as long.

With the exception of Doug, high school relationships DON"T LAST FOREVER. 1 in 1,000,000 do. The rest fail. Most soon into college.

Hence, whenever I hear the words "we're so in love" "we've talked about marriage" "she's the one" or any derivative thereof, I, GET, PISSED.

Ya'll need to understand that at this age, you don't know what the fuck Love is.

Infatuation? Yes.

Friendship? Yes.

Love? Fuck naw.

But that's my own personal pet peeve.

Goldfinger, I can't help you form personal experience, nor can I from close friend's experience. But I can tell you this. 3 years? If you can't be honest with each other about just about anything, then you should have broken up a long time ago. Only thing I can suggest is an open, frank disscussion. At least it will clear the air.

And when/if/when it does end, you'll both be in pain. Nothing you can do to avoid that. It's the nature of relationships.

I think I understand why people can get testy sometimes, all sorts of advice flying around about how to deal with someone. I have just one statement to make, and it applies as much here to Seiya as it did the night Mark laid me out emotionally with a sack full of bricks:

I'm not most important to you, and while I may not like this, I accept and understand it. I know my place now, and where all the priorities lie. I don't mind coming in last, at least I came in.

Before anyone else can beat me with it, let me get my crusifix. I understand it is THE prop for martyrs. Also, don't tell me any of the other negative stuff, like how selfish I am, I'm already more aware than you are.

AH, finally something.
Well I'll see how things play out in the meantime, a lot of things are changing right now and I need to see how everything turns out for the short-term, if everything stays the same, then I guess I will finally have to confront her about it..
peace

goldfinger, while I may not have the experience with the long term gf, I do have 2nd hand experience with a buddy who went through the exact same thing except replace 3 years with 7 (though 4 of them were as he recalls it "a drug filled blur").

Anyway for about a year he was thinking about breaking up with his girl and finally he just kind of snapped during an argument, he wasn't horrificly mean or anything but he was worked up from the argument and decided it was timeto make the break. What was originally intended to be just 6 month hiatus (the length of the new apt lease) ended up being permenant as he rediscovered just how much fun being single can be. When the 6 months were up he just couldn't move back in with her and continue on. He's now dating again and everyting is pretty peachy. He and his ex still get along, but not as well as he wishes.

The moral of the story isbeing single rocks, it gives you time to clear your head and step back and examine.... your beer(s). You can decide to give it another go or stop it altogether, but remember one thing. Don't wait until a fight to make your descision to start the "time off".

ShikonNeko? As far as I can tell, no one here is blaming you. It's just one of those things in life where when you can't get one girl you have to choose between two. Everytime a girl ahs ever liked me, they've come in pairs. It's either no one, or a hard choice between two. That's just life. No one's fault.

I didn't say anyone was blaming me, I just get hit frequently with large blunt objects for saying anything when I'm involved in the problem.

In my defence, those two birds got enough pheremones to kill a duck.

They also have what I like to call the "Equal and Opposite" effect that is a good basis for love. Alright, I will take some responsibility... I DID invite John to a party with more than one single nerd female in attendance.

Then.. I left the party for a while, and the group dynamics did the rest.
