BTW, wasn't SciFi going to air Dirty Pair or something like that? That still happening? |
Dirty Pair is on Showtime Beyond on Friday nights, right after Shadowraiders. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

That's Dirty Pair Flash, right? _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I think so.
I've only seen one or two episodes because I spend my Friday nights watching the "sucky" Sci-fi channel. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

I appologize if my insulting of the home of such classics as Scare Tactics and the Dream Team has offended you.
I just miss when they, you know, played anime. And science fiction.
P.S. God help them if they screw up the new Quantum Leap. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)

I don't watch Scare Tactics or Dream Team. All I watch is Tremors, Stargate, and The Twilight Zone.
You're right, Sci-fi channel has lots of room for improvement. They also better not screw up the new Battlestar Galactica. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Growing up the only anime I saw was whatever broadcast TV eked out to us (long live StarBlazers!). Then I moved into an area with Cartoon Network (everyone here knows what I've been exposed to since). Now I'm in an area where I have to have satellite and I'm being killed with kindness! My VCR runneth over. I'm finding anime on channels I've never heard of.
Please help me use my time wisely.
Tech TV: they have Toonami-like timeslots called Anime Unleashed (can't help but think 'Bingo-night, unleashed!').
4:30p Crest of the Stars
3:00a Soul Taker (there was a two hour block of this last Fri. Weird/jumpy-then-frozen animation, but I'm sticking it out)
3:30a Silent Mobius
Action channel: just saw a full length movie called 'Metropolis'. The animation had me thinking of that Kim Basinger/Brad Pitt movie some years back. Nothing great in the story line (a man's ambitions lead to his downfall, with androids thrown in).
This is part public service and part cry for help. Where else can we find animation (good, bad or ugly) and what are the good shows? |
Also the International Channel has animes as well.
Monday
8 pm - Lost Universe (a very old anime)
Tuesday
8 pm - Fushigi Yugi
Wednesday
8 pm - El Hazard |

Ooh, BAD NEWS there.
Some of their original shows are decent or good, but compared to the sheer number of crap shows they have...
Needs more Quantum Leap, Forever Night, and early seasons of Sliders.
Oh and bring back American Gothic. And anime. Then I'd be happy.
See, I'm not hard to please. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)
