I was gonna get the new FF11 for PC, but people say that it's gonna suck.
It's not that i go with popular decision, but what's the use if you're playing a multiplayer game, and no one's on?

Just how many people are getting it anyway?

I'm right there with your parents on that one. Do one of two things. Make the Game free but monthly fees or charge your 50 dollars and thats the end of it. If I was making an online game I would do it that way. I really love Blizzards battle.net model for internet play but that really doesn't work for the mmorpg's. I would if I was to charge the 50 dollars for my game include at least 6 months of free online play before initiating monthly payments. Yearly subscriptions would also be nice.

Oh, I'm looking forward to WoW much MUCH more than FFXI.

ff11 takes up 6 gig on your computer...how are you guys going to be able to fit that on your comp plus have allt he otha games you play. Your computer would have to be god like to fit all of that...your gunna have to reformatt everything!?!? I want to get ff11...but i thinks its stupid to pay a monthly fee plus pay for a game...I mean you already have to pay for DSL/Cable...plus AOL(for most retarded computer users...noo offence to anyone that likes it.) They should construct somethin glike battle net for ff11 and then make all the changes to be fit for a mmporpg.

My two 80GB SATA drives should have enough space.

I'd like to get FFXI (PC) but I don't know if I'll shell out the bucks for it.

W00t! Another follower! World of Warcraft seems much better in it's own right. Most people are already familiar with the types of characters and locations. And for god's sakes, you can even fly a griffon. A GRIFFON! that just tipped the scales for me Smile so I'm joining the beta test, saving up funds for a year of subscription, and overall checking blizzard every day for updates on this game.

on top of that what I've seen of WoW has character and style to it. The style of it is visually appealing. FF's look and feel hasn't interested me, 7 and on really were lacking. Though I will say I didn't get a chance to play 9.

My hard drive can hold 8 gigs. That doesn't mean it has 8 gigs free, it means total it can hold 8 gigs.

So, even if I wanted it, no FFXI for me.
