Post subject: Premiere Talkback: Inuyasha: The Final Act
Starting tonight, Toonami finally presents the long-awaited sequel/finale to Inuyasha, the Adult Swim series that has been running since 2002, but never saw its conclusion...until now. If you haven't seen the original series (seriously, it's been 12 years; you should've watched it by now), UNMARKED SPOILERS ahead!
During the original series, Kagome Higurashi, the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, travels down a well in her family's shrine and winds up centuries in the past. She awakens Kikyo's dormant lover, the human/dog demon hybrid Inuyasha, and they embark on an adventure with their friends--the fox demon Shippo, the lecherous monk Miroku, and the demon slayer Sango--to collect the shards of the magical Shikon Jewel in order to defeat the evil demon Naraku. Now, in this 26-episode series, the gang can finally conclude their long journey.
