Well, it wasn't terrorists OR a natural disaster or even a cow. Energy demand has gone up 35% in the past 10 years while supply has gone up only 18%. Meaning the grid was overloaded. So it shut down. And a domino effect caused nearby grids to also shut down. The failsafes failed at being safe. (I can make a joke, see? SEE?!?!?!?!)
So it turns out that the cause was people are greedy and stupid. Meaning that FDD wins the bet and no one else. Pay up, people.

Well, was Bono hordeing electical outlets near Lake Eerie and porting hte power over to Las Vegas so he could play a GIANT game of DDR? If not, then he had nothing to do with it. Saddly.
