Toonami's uberlord Time Warner, Inc. said it made a third quarter profit of $541 million this year. Compared to the loss of $55 million in the same quarter last year it seems Time Warner is fixing AOL's mistakes after all. Quarterly revenues also increased by 4% and operating income rose by 7%.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues to pursue its investigation of shady accounting at Time Warner, Inc., parent company of Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network, The New York Times reports.
The agency has subpoenaed Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons, former AOL chairman Stephen Case, and other top executives for questioning about an advertising deal the company made with German music and publishing company Bertelsmann.
