Post subject: Naruto on toonami

Hello. I know i will probably upset many Naruto poser fans or whatever but this is a forum so im posting my opinion.
Toonami has completely ruined Naruto. I understand that some of the things might have been to bloody for small children but please....The voices did not match the chars. The moment I heard naruto speak was the moment i completely lost interest in the english version. I mean, Couldnt they have gotten a better Naruto? I mean young Link would have done great as a voice for Naruto. Plus Irukas voice actor seemed to have no inspiration to act. AND WHAT WAS WITH THE GENIN? TOTALLY AMERICAN!! ITS NOT PROUNCED THAT WAY!!! AND for crying out loud they can have sexy no jutsu but the chars cant have nosebleedS!? Wtf was with that!? PLus they are not headbands on their foreheads they arE FOREHEAD PROTECTORS!!! and i understand they translated Konoha to hidden leaf becasue that is the actual meaning BUT THEY SHOULD STILL CALL IT KONOHA!! And as for what will happen later? I mean if they cant even have a simple nosebleed what are they going to do when most of the time the chars are coughing up blood? PLUS I HEARD TOONAMI HATH MADE HAKU A FEMALE! If that is true toonami get prepared for some hardcore fans riotting at CNs studio. AND WHY DID TOONAMI CUT OUT MOST OF NARUTOS ORIGINAL EPISODE? I mean it was way to fast. The original was slower. And could the actors put in a little effort to make Naruto sound a little japnese? Or keep some japnese phrases? And put in a little effort to ACT!??? The japnese actors were perfect. The chars were perfect. I mean most ppl are pissed so far toonami. Most people who I have talked to say that you are ruining one of the best animes.
Now an evalutaion of the chars so far
Naruto- Is that gohan i here? The voice actor should not be playing Naruto. Narutos voice should not be that masculin.
Iruka-Wtf. I hear no effort from the voice actor to act. He also sounds like Mizuki
Mizuki- You guys pronounced his name wrong. Plus what are you going to do when he returns in later episodes? He needs to have a tad bit more "pychoness" to his voice
The 3rd- You guys got him pretty darn close. No complaints from most ppl.
Konohamaru- Could the actor have a more childish voice? Just a little? The japanese one had a perfect child voice.
Shikamaru- WTF WTF WTF!!! SHIKAMARU is a lazy bum. He did not sound exasperated in episode 1.
Ino- Wtf..Ino should sound a lot girlier.
Sakura- Hers was perfect.
And more chars that come on ill make a new list
Plus i do not want to see you ruin Gaara my fav char. He has a very sad bloody past. You need to put an emphasis on that. Or else people will just think he is a psycho freak.
And finally i would like your opinion |

Thanks for posting this in two forums! It sure was helpful when I was looking for threads on fanboy dub-bashing and just couldn't find enough!
