I'm more of a rant-writer myself. I write in paragraphs. Never been good at poetry. But every now and then I write something that is verbal GOLD. I should find some classic Paradox quotes and post them here. I know you'd all enjoy.

I'm exactly the same way. Do you, as well, write prose in a poetic way? Picking and choosing each word, and revising until it has the apropriate ring?

I'm no poet, but I essay hella goodly.

Hmm, sorta. I do use some flowery language, but my essays for school rarely have pearls of wisdom. In my blog, I rarely write about my day and instead share some insight. Such as the reason I hate sports:

"First of all, the reason that I can't stand watching sports. And that is this. The players are payed WAY WAY WAY too much money. Redwood and I were sitting in free yesterday and started figuring out how much some baseball players make. Manny Ramerez (don't care if I spelled that wrong) makes $18,000,000 per year. So that's about $50,000 per day, ever day of the year. This comes down to about $.57 per second. Meaning he gets paid a few dollars to scratch himelf. He gets paid thousands of dollars to play video games. And, on average, gets paid $684.48 every time he takes a shit. Yes, he can buy a flat screen plasma tv after only 7 or 8 shits."

And then there's the even longer, super classic explanation of the 4 main types of guys in respect to how we deal with girls:

"Girls, I think you have to understand something. It seems to me that there are 4 main types of guys. Of course there are different subsets and such for each, but for the sake of the category of girls and how we react/deal/associate with them, there are 4 main categories.

First, there is, what I like to call, the 'dickass'. You see, the dickass, or DA for short, is only interested in getting ass for his dick. Hence, it is a very apt name. DA's are pretty oblivious to just about everything important in the world, and are only concerned about getting an ass on their dick.

Next, there is the 'nice guy'. Seems like a lot nicer name than dickass, no? Well, it's not. Any time a girl says "You're a nice guy" it means, especially in high school, "you're cool. As a gay guy, I mean. I would never date you. Ever. Cuz you're nice. And I want a jackass." Now, as we get older, the attitude towards us changes. However, there are deffinitely remnants that remain. AND, NG's hate DA's. With a passion. Whenever we here a guy say anything about only wanting action or, "I won't date her because she doens't put out.", we have the desire to rip out their intestines and make them eat their intestines, or do something WORSE. HOWEVER, being nice guys, we don't follow through, even though we should because those dickapes deserve it . . . it's a paradox.

Third, there is the Gay Guy, or GG. These guys have given up on chicks completely because they simply don't get them. That and they're just naturally inclined to like guys but I prefer my version better, that they don't get chicks.

Lastly, there is one other main category of guy. This category shrinks down to almost nothing as we age. These are the Late Bloomers, or LBs. These are the guys that just don't . . . care about girls.

Recap: DA's want ass on dick. GG's want guy on dick. NGs want girl in arms. LBs want to do homework.

DA's are also more aggressive, and thus, get the ass they desire. NG's are too passive, strategic, slow. We get run over."

That's how I write when I have something on my mind. There is some better stuff, but this is some of my most recent good stuff. And people tend to be addicted to my writing, so I must be doing something right.

My mail came. It had a ring in it. She had ordered it the day before she died. I feel lost...

Green-Bird, sorry to hear that your girl-friend died, but why be on a forum when such a event like death has taken place? I for one, wouldn't, I would more likely be anyway from a computer and seeking comfort by doing something else.

i'm honestly completely speechless g-b...i know there's nothing i can say that could, in the slightest way, make you feel better, so it's really impossible for me to make any sort of comment...

not to sound like a total jackass, but how would you respond if someone else had said something similar to you? usually the best perspective can be given by those who can relate to the situation, and with myself not having anything remotely close to such a tragedy directly, i can't really say much of anything other than "i'm sorry"...

He was away for a month. I guess he came back to try and get his mind off it a little. And, just like JJc, I really don't know what to say. Nothing nearly like htis has ever happened to me.

Not even close, here.
I'm guessing you're probably going to wear it, GB? Hell just think what she would've wanted. Hard for me to guess as I didn't know her, but I know you would do what she would've wanted you to do. *Goes cross-eyed*

A Month? Still, I don't initially find it ... I guess, appropriate to go on a board after only a month, and make a thread about this person's passing. Whom, I take that was either dear to you, or held a relationship with, regardless .Rather, if you are in a grieving state it would of been more initiative to either go to consoling, talk to the people who knew her also and reminisce about her memory, instead of taking it about with others who may not of known her and don't feel your same grief.

Either way to cope with the passing of someone close, because losing someone you knew, close or not is always a harsh melancholy feeling to delt with. And Green-Bird, my deepest sympathies go out to you for your lost.

By the way GB, you had no right at all getting pissed off at me for what I said/typed. You gave no impression it was anything more than a generic lame ass "I'm depressed and suicidal just cuz" topic.

Now that I know you gf died, I can possitivly say shit that sucks, but you can't let it keep you down. I'm not sorry it happened I had nothing to d with it, but it still is terrible that it happened.

On another topic, I really find it innapropriate to grieve on an internet messege board. Especially if it just happened. While it was nice of you to eventually get around to (oddly enough by what I said) letting us know what happened we don't know you, especially not personally, we can give you heartfelt generalities but what you need is friends in real life to help deal with it.

I'm most definitly not sorry about what I said, I have no reason to be.

Hey, FDD whines and moans all the time. We let him. In fact, we almost encourage him. If it helps a person get over it...

Spook, not to sound like a Jackass, but how the FUCK do you think that I am dealing with this? How should I?!

Come on, tell me. You are the ultra smart moderator, the one who knows how to deal with shit like this.

I have no reason to be sorry. Just like you. Also, I have friends. The only reason I came back was because they were being Jackasses about it.

And another thing, why do you think it's wrong for me to express my anger on the board? Do you not have enough respect for me, as upon other members to complain about my day-to-day life?

Dee, My friends are thousands of miles away from me. I can't. I went to her funeral, and that was the last time I saw them, Except for my bandmates. I had to sing "Blue", "The Scientist", and A song by Rob Dougan, "Furious Angels". They are several of my last friends, that I knew prior to collage. They were several of the People that were with us when we were together.

She said to me,

"When I die, If you're still alive, Keep my memory alive, anyway you can."

Just keeping a promise...
