So, they FINALLY caught Saddam.
I'm surprised that people think that this will cause another 4 years of Bush's ineptness and idiocy. A president's role is to fulfill his mission, and he already accomplished his mission, so there's no more need for him to be in the White House. He could try for reelection, but I doubt the people will really vote for him anyway. |
Obviously you have no knowledge of human nature. If President is seen in good light, he will be re-elacted, despite if he's actually DONE anything good or not. Of course, it doesn't help that there's no strong Democrat. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Well, Kerry (thats how you spell it right) might have a shot at it with his money. He's senator in my state and he turned 60 the other day. _________________ You're An Inu (Dog)!

Holy publicity for Bush opportunity!
Any bets that he's just one of the fake Saddams? |
That's exactly the first thing that I though of when I saw the news this morning.
No American citizen will ever know for sure whether it was or wasn't.
Then again we'll never know if the votes were correct in 2000, or if Simpson was really guilty or not...ok maybe not that one...

If we were treating him like an animal we would have shot him on site and not given him any medical attention. _________________ To err is human, to forgive is prime.

I always wondered, why is it shave and a haircut--the haircut should come first. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

One thing this could possibly help is that people were scared to divulge any information they had, because they figured Saddam would kill them for it, but now that the "almighty" U.S. has him, they don't really have to fear for their lives and can freely give any information on terrorist groups that they might have. |

Um, it fit the song better. There's two beats at haircut and if you tried to switch it around then it would change the meter or you'd have to add a rest. _________________ Bang. |

I still don't think Bush will get reelected, he's still on too many peoples bad side even with this. |
Yeah but if you haven't noticed, he really helped our economy and he actually isn't a bad president. I mean what would you do in a time of crisis. He handled 9/11 very well too. |

Bush will be reelected if fifty one percent of the American people think he should stay. Fixing the economy, capturing Sadam, and handling 9/11 may have swayed some people but you don't get anther term autimaticly for what you’ve done. Of course it also depends on who the Democrats choose to run. Howard Dean might be their favorite candidate but Bush is still beating him in the polls two to one.
By the way, John Stewert said on the Daily Show that Sadam should now be considered a member of the Needa Bath party. _________________ To err is human, to forgive is prime.

For the love of all that is good in this world, never say that any president helped the economy without adequate evidence to back it up. The president, regardless of who it is, has next to no effect on the overall economy.
And I don't wanna hear nothin' about the economy getting better--it's a lot harder to get a job (especially a good paying one) in today's world over three years ago. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.
