Does it really matter? The creators of Toonami decide it needs a change. You liked what they made initially, so why not see how they want it to evolve?
If stuff like this didn't occur, we'ld still be in the Saiyan Saga of DBZ.
Besides, Mega Man X was the shit.

but seriously, we['re been staring at Tom and the Absolution for so long that he['s almost become stale. That's mostly the writers fault, and the limitations of budget for WS. Hopefully, and it really just looks like this is all their doing, when Tom3 and the Absolution2 make their appearance either they will have a whole new host of support cast members-- not just sara2.

The only problem with S-Video was that he rapped everything he said. At least he used punctuation and capitalization.
