I said it was a rumor, not that it was true. I think it was from something that a Sony rep said during e3.

Yah, everytime I think back on my childhood, all I can see in my memories are me playing baseball, some school things, and then 90% of them are me playing Super Mario Brothers and other great classics like Gauntlet, Mega Man, Double Dragon.....
Wow...it's funny to think how much video games have shaped my life. Oh and wtf is up with MGS not being on that list?!?!
The dare disrespect Snake?

Can't we get some more PC games in the mix?
I'd never even touched a console by the time I started playing Wolfenstein and then Doom... Then there was Sim City 2000, then a variety of minor games before Starcraft, then Half-Life changed my world forever.
As it stands, Half-Life is the greatest game ever. And this comes from many hours of playing it, and the mods made for it. No console game can even come close. Not even Warcraft, Age of Mythology, and the Battlefield series can dislodge it. Doom 3 probably won't do it. It'll be HL2 that does it.
As for console games... The height of those is Mario Golf 64 and Gran Turismo 3. _________________ Ice cream has this erotic sense to it- kinda like the one choclate and strawberries have.

as far as computer games go I would say these three: monkey island, full throttle, day of the tentacle. I've enjoyed any one of those three moreso than any shooter.

I dunno about anyone else, but I think you should almost put SMB3 under SNES rather than NES, since its showing in SMBAS was much moe influential, due to the fact you could save... _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. Nah, SMB3 was better on the NES. Hard to explain but it just felt right; musi, graphics, and all.

I'd put Leisure Suit Larry 7 for the category of "best easter eggs". Of course, I haven't seen every games easter eggs, but LSL7 certainly had some of the more... entertaining ones.
