So that's 2 for good, and one for Evil, though the Evil vote wasn't based on strategy . . .
Still waiting on FDD, Bono, and Doug. Good or Evil. Go look in the scribes and on the Dominion message board under 'Announcements'. Races you should make sure to look at: Wood Elves, Hafling, Merfolk, Sylvan, SPUDS (Spirits/Undead), Dark Elves, Trolls and Lycanthrope.
Why those? Because they seem to be the best, at least in my eyes. Look at both Military and Race bonuses, BOTH are important. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Ok, so that's 3 votes for good, 2 for evil. Bono has yet to vote, and Zechs has no reason for his vote.
If we do go Good, at least one person should go Hafling so that we have a killer spy up our sleaves in case he's needed. By 'in case' I mean 'will be needed every day'.
Merfolk is a killer explorer race (with a 0/7 unit) and Wood Elf is kickass at both explorer and attacker. Plus they have a deceptively high defense.
If you go Woody, and run 45% homes, 35% lumber yards, 8% farms, 6% towers and 1% docks, then you have a 0/8 defender and a 7/7 whatever you want it to do. Instead of gems, you use lumber. Not as good, but you get the offense and defense boost from the forests so Walls and Forges aren't necissary. Also, the two best trained military units have no Ore cost. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Strats aren't the problem. I'll post a link here later that's a message board that a few of the top Dominon players post at. Seriously, these guys are repeatedly in the top 10 of their races and do EVERY calc themselves. Like, eveyr calc for every aspect of the game. One of the guys, Para, was 2nd this round, and would have been first if the guy who WAS first hadn't hit him. They post their strats and help you fix yours. Strats aren't the issue. The issue is what we could kick ass best with if playing at our peak. I believe Woody, you believe DE. Two opposites of the same pole. We have a few days to figure it out. Round starts monday morning, we should sign up Sunday night, meaning I should set it up Saturday night (can't do it Sunday morning)
And we need to figure out names now. Tell you what, Zechs, you can pick between the top two name choices (last time I checked, Strong Bad and C&H were tied) if we go Good. You DID have the only vote that wasn't for either of those two, after all. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Well, CP wants me to cast a vote for Good v. Evil, So I'll just say good because I'd like a little more time to work on my human strategies. I still say Homestarrunner names simply because I never read Calvin and Hobbes, and Homestar... has a lot more main characters. Again, I call trogdor. IMPORTANT: Once the round starts, release ALL troops, except mayve Arch Mages, into your population. They will help increase the rate at which your population grows, which will help MUCH more than keeping them as military for when coming Out of Protection. _________________ anime is teh s uck
