The official blog for Cowboy Bebop/Samurai Champloo director Shiniciro Watanabe's new series Space Dandy announced on Friday (and confirmed by press release from production company Bandai Visual) that the anime will run on television in Japan, North America, and Asia nearly simultaneously in January. It will run on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in North America and on Animax Asia in Asia (except Korea). In Japan, it will run on Tokyo MX TV, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and BS Fuji.
North American anime distributor Funimation is charge of the US home video release and is producing an English dub for the television release.
