Post subject: Hellboy/Cartoon Network link

It's Thursday night and I'm back from seeing the new Hellboy movie (free sneak previews rock), and I've got something buzzing about in my brain.
See, there's this one character, Abe Sentient, and I know I recognize the voice. I actually sit through the credits to find out the name of the actor, but it doesn't ring a bell. I come home and thumb through my notebook of characters and VAs when it hits me.
Doug Stone! Who most recently has voiced Shintaro Kosaka in "Witchhunter Robin" and who I also have down as doing a voice in "08th MS Team".
Isn't that cool or what? (Don't answer that.)

Really?! Oh now I gotta see that movie seeing as Doug Stone is the VA for Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid....this makes me happy ^_^.

The review in my newspaper said that Hellboy has almost no character development, and is nothing but a sack of overdone special effects.
Makes me want to see this movie sooo bad.

Fine, yes Abe SAPIEN. What do you expect at 2am?
Doug Stone is the actor listed in the credits. He is the body in the makeup, maybe? We don't know. David HP does have a similar voice.
True, little character development, lots of special effects (the cg is better than Spiderman, alot smoother) and predictable storyline. It's no X-Men, but it was worth the price of the ticket.
Oh yeah, I didn't have to pay anything... 
According to an article in my paper, the actors are already lined up to do sequal(s). Maybe they'll do more substance than flash in later movies.
