Post subject: New Family Guy!
|
|
|
|
The Family Guy has received the go-ahead to produce new episodes, IGN reports. Seth MacFarlane says that the new episodes will definitely air on Cartoon Network, with the only question being whether they will premiere there or on Fox. Production will begin in April with a hoped-for December bow.
I hope to high hell I'm not the only one who is pleased as punch about this. |

It appears I must rewatch the series now from beginning to end to prepare for such a glorious event. Me loves DVD's. _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C. |

You realize that this is old news...
There have been rumors floating around about a new season of family guy because of the box set sales. |

The difference is that before it was just "talk" about a new set of episodes.
Now, it's confirmed as actually happening. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

What Nobu said, but also the talk started as Seth mentioning he wanted to do some Direct-to-video movies of family guy, then adult swim picked it up and became a huge hit. After that Fox said waaaiiit a second there, we might have missed a great thing. And decided to officially announce that they were officially thinking about the possiblity of thinking about making new episodes. News stuck around there until just now. |

Ohh you guys missed the best part of it. Seth MacFarlane's statement was "The new season will be bigger than Jesus, or at least bigger than 'The Passion of the Christ'" That man still has his stuff. I heard it was possibly coming out in the summer, but i guess that would be too early. And i highly doubt Adult Swim would get the rights to it. Fox has a habit of owning things no matter what status they are in. Even "Firefly" wont be able to get anywhere without their permission, and without them getting a serious cut of it. The show will most likely definitely appear on Fox first

They won't be replacing the Simpsons with it, especialyl since Simpsons quality is back on the rise and livin' so sweet.
I'm expecting it to either fill in where Malcom is now and Malcom moving to 9 or it going in a 9. |

I rented the season 1&2 set and man, that was funny. I hope Seth's brainchild can go on for a long time like the Simpsons, even more. |

Same, as long as it stays funny. Thats the problem with the simpsons... It got old and slowly just became stupid... |
