The Blaupunkt is cheaper, holds ten CD's and has an aux. input (if I'm reading correctly) to plug your MP3 player into.
Unless you really believe you're going to subscribe to XM in the future...
Someone with more audiophile experience should really step in about now... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I'm going to be starting from a clean slate. I'm buying a "new" car around the end of the month and all of my old schtoof goes with my truck when I sell it.
I also decided to include Eclipse into the equation because of their reputation.
I know Blaupunkt is cheaper but the last one my friend had was completely bulletproof. Thing played a cd that was to scratched for my deck to handle.. while OFFROAD. Yeah, we were offroading listening to a scrachted to hell cd and it barely skipped a beat. Hence my impressediveness of them.
As far as Alpine, I've had two alpine decks and have been more than pleased with the quality and superior sound. From what I've heard the only real competition for Alpine qualitywise is Eclipse. |

10 CD changer is the one I would choose. But my dad already installed a 12-CD changer in his car. If I could remember what model it was, I would tell you, but all I know is that it's from JVC and he got it at a PX. |
