I just get angry and give up every time I see a codec that appearantly doesn't exist. I hate those damned non-standard codecs with a passion...

I really can't wait, I'm on the wrong computer for DivX so I'll have to wait for a bit!

Uhh, it doesn't work with DivX player, unless I'm mistaken and there's been a version released since 4...

http://www.divx.com/ shows a version 5.0.5.
It works with my copy of DivX Player 2.1. 
P.S. I'm not particularly fond of Divx or its variations, either. My biggest gripe is it's a resource hog. I only use it when I have to.

Divx is your friend. Maybe you have the decoder settings maxed, which eat up resources. Or maybe your computer isn't powerful enough.

Divx is a cheap, dirty hack of a Microsoft cheap, dirty hack. It's no friend I care to be acquainted with.

At least you lucky people in the UK can play Region 2 DVDs.

I have a plan.
Also, according to Anime on DVD's Otakon report, Tenchi Muyo! GXP is scheduled for a January 2004 release.

Unfortunately although i can play region 2 DVD's they are in NTSC so...alas, I can only play PAL...

But that opening was pretty naff...what was with the nudes? I think they could have made it more exciting bwa ha ha ha.
BUT!
The animation looked excellant...looks like they've updated the character designs a little? And dunno who those new people but they looked exciting, lots of hints at stuff, don't you think?
