More Essential Anime from ADV: Andrew Tei, reporting for AoD, dropped a line with something he missed putting into his ADV [at Comic Con] report: "When answering a question regarding Parasite Dolls, Matt Greenfield brought up that a Bubblegum Crisis 2040 Essential Anime release would be forthcoming. I'm guessing, judging from the Vol. 1 SE listing, that the other SE's have 2 discs containing the following:
"Disc one contains the original Standard Edition DVD.
Disc two contains four thirty-minute episodes presented in anamorphic widescreen, English and Japanese DTS 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo."
So get the SE only if your home theater system can handle it, otherwise you're wasting your money, IMHO.
:add: I'd also wait until they fix the Japanese DTS track, as reported here.
The Vol. 1 SE also has a soundtrack CD, but there's no information for the upcoming SE's yet.

I found Volume 1 at netflix....and i put it on thw waiting list, it better have the jap voices and english subs, i cant get the SE...bc netflix doesnt have it yet or they may not get it, Vol 2....they don't eve have it released yet those bastards. _________________ I am God reincarnate.....treat me like it.
