After the yesterday's episode, I am sure that these are the unedited episodes. I don't know if they are uncut, but they are probably exactly as they are on the regular dvds. The reason for that is blood. I don't remember seeing blood in the previous DBZ airings (only scratches), yesterday's episode had lot of blood all over.

I am soooo enjoying these episodes. I had only seen bits and pieces of the old stuff. Now I truly see that a lot of you are right that the later DBZ episodes suck. These early ones actually got my kids scared, and that was so cool. My oldest had not been into DBZ, but he is the first one watching every night.

Cartoon Network has finally done things right, so I applaud them. I hope it continues ...

I tuned in for about 5 minutes last night. I have a pretty damn good eye for these things, and if there are any edits, the editors have god-like skills. There was blood, the hole in Goku's chest (By the way, I never realized until now: Goku's heard is blown out, and he lives for at least 5 minutes.), and they used the word "Death" and its derivatives. That right there is a HUGE thing.

Imadad, wait till you see Gohan's training. And the Sayain battle. And Goku's training both while he's dead and while he's alive. Hell, just wait till you see all of it. These episodes are awesome. I hope you enjoy the episodes that got me into anime 7 years ago.

This is just awsome, I am so happy that I got my dvr in time to record all these episodes. But for some reason I don't think that this will last for long. I am sure that not long from now they will start showing reruns instead of continuing with the series.

I really hope that they will also show the DBZ movies once in a while, I really want to see the Bojak movie. (I think that Brolly and Brolly returns are better, but I already saw them many times on my computer)

Last night's episode was crazy! All that blood was pure symbolism of the greatness of the early DBZ days. Gohan's rage never ceases to amaze me. I can't wait until he starts training with Piccolo. DBZ is back and better than ever. Oh yeah, about Piccolo's blood, in the Frieza saga it was purple.

Every night I get more and more hooked. I wanted to kill my wife for covering over the last minute of Tuesdays episode when I recorded it. I have the Vegeta/Goku first fight. Cartoon Network aired it about a year or so ago when they took DBZ off the air. I am really going to enjoy watching it uncut.

I was playing on the Funimation website, and they are playing a trailer for "Bio-Broly" anyone have any idea what this is? I don't recall any of the movies having Broly in them after the 2nd time he is dispatched. Of course I am not an expert, but if anyone knows what that is, I'd appreciate it.

Be warned, there are some edits from the Vegita fight that are almost warranted, and there are a few edits of hte things Vegita does on Namek that are deffinitly warranted. Just a heads up.

As for Bio-Brolly, I haven't upkept my DBZ universe knowledge (I used to be the board expert. And while I still enjoy Dragon Ball and the early episodes of DBZ, I didn't even WATCH DBGT aside from a few minutes here and there. And the movies were not made by Akira Toriyama either, so they don't really count in the timeline. That's why only a few movies (I believe movies number 1 (aside from a small glitch in the dialogue in the first episode of DBZ, that is), 5, 7, 9, and 13) could actually fit into the timeline. The rest just could not fit in anywhere in the timeline.), but it memory serves me, Brolly is in movies #8 and #10. He dies in #10, and some scientists make a suedo clone of him for movie 11 that is, that's right, Bio-Brolly.

But that's just if memory serves me. See if you can find "The ultimate DBZ info site" through the use of your friend Google. The site could very well be off the net entirely, but back in the day, it was THE source of everything that it was possible to know related to Dragon Ball.

counterparadox, thanks for the 411. I'll do some web looking. I expected some editing, but from what I am hearing, most of it has been left in. We will see. I hope because it is right before adult swim, that they let the evil of Vegeta go and let us truly see it "uncut".

If you don't want me to spoil what is going to happen in the Bio-Brolly movie, stop reading this post.

In this movie, Brolly is a clone made using the sample of blood collected from where Brolly was killed. Then the stuff he was made of is going to spill out (and it is so toxic it destroys everything in its path), but brolly was too powerful so he somehow took control of the stuff (and that is why he is completely green). He will fight agains goten and trunks. This time gohan does not show up, goten and trunks win by themselves. I think this movie sucked. I don't think that goten and trunks would ever be powerful enough to beat brolly.

Nope. DBZ is done. You can follow the misadventures of those wacky sayijins by watching DragonBall GT. Which tries very hard to be both Dragonball and Dragonball Z at the same time.

It was produced because the fans wanted more. And they gave them more of the same. If your a fan of DBZ you'll want to watch GT just to get it out of your system and finish the saga. But dont expect to be as happy with it as you were with Z. The first two thirds are more of an addin to the original Dragonball.

The creator of Dragon Ball has said that he will never return to the universe of Goku. Meaning its over. I don't consider any of the movies, or GT, to be a part of Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z. Why? Because they didn't come out of the mind of Akira Toriyama. Therefore, they don't count.
